SO16_Saint Posted 28 August, 2012 Posted 28 August, 2012 Just seen Guly has been charged with Drink Driving.

hypochondriac Posted 28 August, 2012 Posted 28 August, 2012 Poor footballer and complete idiot for this.
CanadaSaint Posted 28 August, 2012 Posted 28 August, 2012 “The arrested followed after police officers noticed a vehicle being driven erratically in the High Street, Southampton, at approximately 4.35am.” Guly doing something erratically? Surely not.
niceandfriendly Posted 28 August, 2012 Posted 28 August, 2012 Poor footballer and complete idiot for this. 50% correct.
Barry the Badger Posted 28 August, 2012 Posted 28 August, 2012 Maybe we will sing a funny song about it like we did for Lee Barnard... No?
Saint Garrett Posted 28 August, 2012 Posted 28 August, 2012 Not going to help his case, already the scapegoat, just something else for the fans to moan about.
hypochondriac Posted 28 August, 2012 Posted 28 August, 2012 50% correct. Take it back. He is not a complete idiot.
St.Patrik Posted 28 August, 2012 Posted 28 August, 2012 I guess he was not in the squad then for tonights cup game....
david in sweden Posted 28 August, 2012 Posted 28 August, 2012 Just seen Guly has been charged with Drink Driving. well that may sort out the midfield selection problem in the near future...
WHITEE1987 Posted 28 August, 2012 Posted 28 August, 2012 Hopefully the court date is this coming Sunday.
Saint Garrett Posted 28 August, 2012 Posted 28 August, 2012 I guess he was not in the squad then for tonights cup game.... It was mentioned on the build up thread that none of the first 11 Saturday apart from SKD have travelled to Stevenage anyway.
niemi14 Posted 28 August, 2012 Posted 28 August, 2012 What is it with Premier League Footballers and Drink Driving?!
Ivan Katalinic's 'tache Posted 28 August, 2012 Posted 28 August, 2012 Apparently he was driving inconsistently. They'll never make this stick...
del boy Posted 28 August, 2012 Posted 28 August, 2012 The forum comments have become too much for him...
Windmill Arm 2 Posted 28 August, 2012 Posted 28 August, 2012 Cue 100 page thread on non existant drinking culture at St Marys.
Saint Fan CaM Posted 28 August, 2012 Posted 28 August, 2012 Kinda sums up his performances on the pitch really. Hope the club take a dim view and drop him from the starting 11 as a result.
GenevaSaint Posted 28 August, 2012 Posted 28 August, 2012 I cannot fathom why these highly paid players cannot get a taxi to the venue and home.
Glasgow_Saint Posted 28 August, 2012 Posted 28 August, 2012 I cannot fathom why these highly paid players cannot get a taxi to the venue and home. Guly is so lazy - he wont empty the trash in the computer recycle bin!
pangy Posted 28 August, 2012 Posted 28 August, 2012 I cannot fathom why these highly paid players cannot get a taxi to the venue and home. This. They earn enough £££ to hire a full time driver
John Boy Saint Posted 28 August, 2012 Posted 28 August, 2012 He'll get some stick for that especially as he will have to cadge a lift to Staplewood now, unless he gets the Hythe ferry then cycles up there: That should be his punishment from the club for the first month of his ban. Amazing though at 4am in the morning there were Rozzers about to knick him, what are the chances of that seeing as the OB never seem to be around when you want them to be, I bet someone grassed him up, which considering the crime and the powerful car he was driving is not a bad thing.
max_saints Posted 28 August, 2012 Posted 28 August, 2012 that's more ammo for the anti-guly contingent then
Crazy Diamond Posted 28 August, 2012 Posted 28 August, 2012 that's more ammo for the anti-guly contingent then And less for the Guly Defence League. Swings and roundabouts.

shurlock Posted 28 August, 2012 Posted 28 August, 2012 (edited) Guly is so lazy - he wont empty the trash in the computer recycle bin! Guly stashes kiddie porn too? Edited 28 August, 2012 by shurlock
david in sweden Posted 28 August, 2012 Posted 28 August, 2012 I cannot fathom why these highly paid players cannot get a taxi to the venue and home. sensible response Geneva....but who would buy a Porsche....and then leave it at home all the time? - (especially if they were out on a date)
Golden Balls Posted 28 August, 2012 Posted 28 August, 2012 That report says he lives in my road. I'll give him a lift to training. I'm nice like that.
Whitey Grandad Posted 28 August, 2012 Posted 28 August, 2012 Out late into the morning and drinking. Not the behaviour of a serious professional footballer.
.comsaint Posted 28 August, 2012 Posted 28 August, 2012 Not sure what I'm more disappointed at - the drink driving charge... or the fact he drives such a dreadful car as the Porsche Panamera!
dubai_phil Posted 28 August, 2012 Posted 28 August, 2012 Anyone who buys a Panemera deserves to do serious time simply for bad taste. Oh, and young footballer in not having brain switched on story, well, that IS big news......... Not. Oh and yes, serves him right it ain't as if there aren't enough "Ëxecutive" Limo Companies in Southampton to have on speed dial
angelman Posted 28 August, 2012 Posted 28 August, 2012 36 hours after the Wigan game = 40 hours before the next game. Presume that he wasn't planning on playing against Stevenage then. Wholly unprofessional, which given where he is, is just plain stupid. I know that footballers have a life outside of the game, but certain sacrifices are expected to be made if there is any sort of justification for the highly inflated wages, and I don't think DD at 4.35am the day before your next game cuts it.
dubai_phil Posted 28 August, 2012 Posted 28 August, 2012 Out late into the morning and drinking. Not the behaviour of a serious professional footballer. Where to start.. Osgood Channon Keegan & Bally Salisbury Races & then the after parties Le Tiss Frannie & others (Bally having to go round the clubs looking for them) Beattie, Claus Rooney Ballotelli etc etc etc etc etc
Papa Shango Posted 28 August, 2012 Posted 28 August, 2012 36 hours after the Wigan game = 40 hours before the next game. Presume that he wasn't planning on playing against Stevenage then. None of the players that played on Saturday were going to travel up to Stevenage. He's an idiot for what he did, but he's not the first and won't be the last.
Essruu Posted 28 August, 2012 Posted 28 August, 2012 I cannot fathom why these highly paid players cannot get a taxi to the venue and home. He does. All the time. Most of the players do. I have driven him since the incident and, although my professionalism meant we didn't talk about it, he is clearly down about what happened. I can assure you that, knowing him as I do, this was totally out of character. He's a family man, not a boozy big-time Charlie.
Glasgow_Saint Posted 28 August, 2012 Posted 28 August, 2012 Hope this doesnt effect or delay the transfer of Ramirez
scotty Posted 28 August, 2012 Posted 28 August, 2012 Remember black men and expensive cars and all that. Never a moments peace... Very true. Someone should of warned him about that.
Wade Garrett Posted 28 August, 2012 Posted 28 August, 2012 He's a c*nt. Just like any other c*nt who drink-drives.
Tractor_Saint Posted 28 August, 2012 Posted 28 August, 2012 I might be very naive but I thought that professional footballers enjoy their alcohol out of the football season and then should abstain during the football season?
sfc4prem Posted 28 August, 2012 Posted 28 August, 2012 Poor Guly. Driven to drinking by the constant abuse from the terraces. I saw his face on Saturday as some fat bastard hurled vitriolic abuse at him, he looked like the enjoyment for life had been sucked out of him. Sickening to see a contingent of our fanbase drive a player to the edge.
Papa Shango Posted 28 August, 2012 Posted 28 August, 2012 I might be very naive but I thought that professional footballers enjoy their alcohol out of the football season and then should abstain during the football season? Saints players are boozed up in 90 Degrees all the time.
Tom Posted 28 August, 2012 Posted 28 August, 2012 Im just annoyed he has more points on his license that we have in the league.
Whitey Grandad Posted 28 August, 2012 Posted 28 August, 2012 At least he'll have more pints than the team Fixed it for you ;-)
