um pahars Posted 27 August, 2012 Share Posted 27 August, 2012 Can't see anywhere that states you're not allowed to take your own food in, but always thought you weren't allowed??? The old fella won't go anywhere without his ham sandwiches, pork pies and scotch eggs!! So food allowed or are we smuggling it in in our underpants! Kingsland Codger Posted 27 August, 2012 Share Posted 27 August, 2012 I have always taken in some sandwiches and similar to ODIs in the past and it has never been a problem. Liquids, soft or hard, however, were not permitted. I gather this is a rule imposed on Hampshire CC by the organising authority.

bridge too far Posted 27 August, 2012 Share Posted 27 August, 2012 We know from previous experience (ODI v Aussies a couple of years ago) that they're a bit funny about cameras. You're not allowed to use long lens.
um pahars Posted 27 August, 2012 Author Share Posted 27 August, 2012 Thanks so much for the feedback peeps, most appreciated. Went down this morning to pick up the tickets and watched England in the warm up. Someone had a good job running around the bowl finding all the balls that Bell & co were knocking in to and over the seats!!!!
Huffton Posted 27 August, 2012 Share Posted 27 August, 2012 I took food and coffee into the Sri Lanka test match last year with no problem, you need to, the prices in the ground make St Marys look reasonable!
