This story reminds me of the Dorset big cat that pops up occasionally whenever their echo is having a slow news day: http://www.dorsetecho.co.uk/news/4862375.Dorset_big_cat___more_close_encounters/ http://www.dorsetecho.co.uk/news/8417742.Big_cat_sighting_near_Wool/ http://www.dorsetecho.co.uk/news/4867778.Vet_backs_Dorset_big_cat_reports/ and so on...
The Cat Posted 27 August, 2012 Posted 27 August, 2012 Front page of the Daily Mail today. They even included a big picture of a lion in case anyone wasn't aware what one looked like. Joke of a paper.

John Boy Saint Posted 27 August, 2012 Posted 27 August, 2012 Anyone remember the Big Cat seen roaming around Sherfield on Loddon and Bramley in north Hampshire a few years ago? There had been a day with multiple sightings, I was living in Chineham at the time, about 3 miles from the nearest sighting, we were on the edge of the village with open fields in 3 directions. Without thinking I stood having a smoke in the garden that evening and heard a rustling in the bushes which gave me a start, all of a sudden I thought of the Big Cat and slowly crept towards the door to go inside heart racing, as I reached the door the cause of the rustling came into view............ It was 2 bloomin Deer!!
