Robsk II Posted 26 August, 2012 Share Posted 26 August, 2012 All the gay orgies TDD takes part in never get any column inches, or many inches at all. Poor guy. My son walks around stark-bollock naked all the time and no-one cares. Admittedly this is only at home, and he is 1, so you know. It's all a load of ****. I couldn't care less if he does some vaguely normal things. They all do, just Harry is a bit of a burke and gets caught. I'd be looking a bit closely at who he hangs around with, and maybe his security arrangements, but it's hardly public interest. The Sun actually had a mistake in their codes of journalistic conduct contract - a typo meant that they publish things if there is 'pub interest', which explains a lot. Ken Tone Posted 27 August, 2012 Share Posted 27 August, 2012 The way I see it Harry can't have it both ways. Either he's a normal lad with a career in the army, in which he is entitled to privacy ,BUT would not be able to afford the lifestyle he has, -- Or he's a royal with all the money, security and special treatment that brings , at taxpayers expense, and who expects ordinary citizens to stand in respect for him etc, in which case he should behave like a public figure. buctootim Posted 27 August, 2012 Share Posted 27 August, 2012 Of course Harry can just declare hes not a Royal anymore, dispense with security because of that wont be needed, and party and no-one will bat an eyelid or sell photos. Of course.

I'm afraid it just doesn't work that way, how do you separate a young lad with fire in his loins from an accident of birth that means he has to always listen to his granny ?? IMO it is quite refreshing that he is a normal human being and not up his own arse like many so called celebrities !!

bridge too far Posted 27 August, 2012 Share Posted 27 August, 2012 What was it he got?...a D in A-level geography wasnt it? Genuine question here: Would that usually get someone in at the level he's in, in the Army or did he get special dispensation. I know nothing about army careers. Frank's cousin Posted 27 August, 2012 Share Posted 27 August, 2012 Nothing new... Royals always been doing this sort of thing - Old Henry the 8th 6 wives and countless mistresses - Liz the first was not adverse to a regular portion of c ock (similar to a more recent princess) - it used to be expected of them, was only that sour old prune Victoria who was such a prude, yet even her fine upstanding Prince Albert liked a decent hooker on a regular basis... Its common Knowledge that their son Edward VII was so into the *****, he took hi doc with him on outings to check for the clap (might have made that bit up...or was he Jack the Ripper?) Then you had the bloke who resigned form his job as King to play hide the sausage with what must ahve been the ugliest American on the planet at that time .. and a Nazi - no wonder she was divorced, bloke probably woke up after a 3 day bender in Vegas married to that and fecked right off then and there... lets not forget in more recent times 'Randy Andy' who like a stripper/Glamour model or 2 preferably at the sma etime - Koo stark I believe enjoyed his favour.... so nothing to see here really, just keeping up tradition ! bridge too far Posted 27 August, 2012 Share Posted 27 August, 2012 I have wondered what qualifications Harry got..what else did he get? 11 GCSEs and 2 A levels (Art - B, Geography - D) according to this: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/1531553/The-family-qualifications.html It amazes me that so many of them got into Cambridge with relatively poor A levels! Dimond Geezer Posted 27 August, 2012 Share Posted 27 August, 2012 Ordinarily I couldn't care less, he's a young bloke enjoying himself etc etc., but there must be a question about security & potential to blackmail. After all, he is privy to a lot more classified info than your usual army captain.

I know nothing about army careers. There are minimum requirements, though they're not set in stone. When I applied for the army, I hadn't attended Uni and was just short on the specified UCAS points required but after interviewing me, they urged me to go for Officer selection - I was only applying to go in as a soldier. I know more about Navy officer entry. He'd be considered by the RN with just 2 iffy A levels, but I wouldn't rate his chances of actually getting in for officer training...it's quite competitive
