Van hire recommendations?

Moving house this weekend (Southampton area), need a transit-size van for max of two days, hopefully only one. Plenty of options out there but wondered if anyone had any personal recommendations, especially for any local companies rather than chains? Any good deals on at the mo?

I've used Pitter in West End several times, I'd recommend them. Good on price and ease of use. You can drop off the van any time of day or night once you're finished with it.

Probably not, largest items are sofas and 2.5m tall cupboard.

Pitter seem ideal, I just need to work out how to collect/drop off the van from West End as I'm going from Winchester to Southampton and don't otherwise have a vehicle! Thanks all for now.

I used to rent a van on moves, now I just use "man and van" services (loads on gumtree) works out the same as a rental and you dont need to pickup/drop off the van + get the man to help with lifting ect.

Always had great service and prices from UDrive and you CAN drop the van off overnight etc as others have said re Pitter. Pitter have always quoted me higher prices than UDrive unless it's all changed in the last 12 months. At the end of the day, I guess the closest one to you is also a big draw!
