sandwichsaint Posted 19 August, 2012 Share Posted 19 August, 2012 Has any ticket info gone out for this game yet? Can't see it anywhere, isn't the game to be played in the week between Wigan and ManU (?????)
View From The Top Posted 20 August, 2012 Share Posted 20 August, 2012 I believe it's on Tuesday 28th. Like to know details as I'd like to take the lad. Another ground to tick off.
JRM Posted 20 August, 2012 Share Posted 20 August, 2012 I thought they would have announced this by now, the game is only a week away so if they are going to allow time to sell and post out they should get on with it. also would like to know if there will be loyalty points for this game and if so will it impact Arsenal away which also must be due to go on sale in the next week

Stevenage will probably use the same loyalty points, so anyone who went to City will get priority, but that's purely speculation on my part. ladysaint Posted 20 August, 2012 Share Posted 20 August, 2012 So 1,200 allocation for Stevenage and guess there were about 2k at Man City can see this ticket thing getting out of hand soon and needing a maths degree to work things out.

There'll still be close to 1k tickets left after those that went to Man City have bought theirs. It is possible then that those that went to Stevenage, but not City, might get priority over those that did neither.

Neil Posted 20 August, 2012 Share Posted 20 August, 2012 From Stevenage OS: "Away Fans: Please note that away fans will also need to register to purchase tickets" Suggests Saints fans can try buying tickets from Stevenage after we've sold out. Griffo Posted 20 August, 2012 Share Posted 20 August, 2012 You have to buy on Stevenage's ticket website. Bit weird, so I presume this means no loyalty points will be awarded seeing as Saints won't be able to track who's bought them?
stevegrant Posted 20 August, 2012 Share Posted 20 August, 2012 It seems a bit odd that we're relying on a club who were in non-league just over two years ago to sell tickets on our behalf.

stockportsaint Posted 20 August, 2012 Share Posted 20 August, 2012 At best. Frankly very disappointed with our ticket office this season already. Won't go into details but they've not covered themselves in glory so far. It's as though we're still in League One.

Kenilworthy Posted 20 August, 2012 Share Posted 20 August, 2012 Got my 2. But what a shambles letting them be sold by the home club's website with no notice. Lucky I went on the OS just by chance. There are going to be some very disappointed people. Didn't the ticket office learn anything from the Brighton debacle? Also we don't get loyalty points. It is possible then that those that went to Stevenage, but not City, might get priority over those that did neither. True, but as they can't be bothered to even sell tickets and won't be able to confirm who's got them, they don't appear to have allocated any loyalty points to it, which is frankly bizarre when daft-ass games away to League One teams are exactly the kind of matches to judge loyalty on. But it's not entirely unexpected.
The9 Posted 20 August, 2012 Share Posted 20 August, 2012 Also bizarre, the article about Stevenage tickets is claiming to be 9 hours old, which would have seen it online at around 1pm. It definitely definitely was not there at 5pm because a couple of us checked. What's going on with the Content Management on that site ?

I expect it includes the ability to change the displayed publish time, although this would usually be used for articles that are embargoed until a certain date/time, rather than backdating something that's been tardily released later than it should have been. The Cat Posted 21 August, 2012 Share Posted 21 August, 2012 Considering we are buying these through Stevenage I'm presuming we don't get any extra loyalty points (or whatever they are) added to our account for this? Also, and maybe I'm just being thisck here, but can we see online how many points we have? I can look at my transaction history but can't find anything to do with what points have been gained. ladysaint Posted 21 August, 2012 Share Posted 21 August, 2012 I think you have to work out the points yourself from your history so as at today I presume everyone that went to Man City will have 15 points if their man city ticket is on their history and then you will have to add the points for Wigan on after the game on Saturday, obviously the club will be able to run some sort of report which will give them this information immediately.
