I learned my lesson on this a long time ago, before FB existed. Had a tumultuous relationship with a rather flaky lady. On and off more times than a kettle on a building site. Made the mistake of informing all and sundry. In the end, decided to keep my trap shut until I was fairly sure of the outcome. As for the 5-0 prediction? Sure he wasn't alone. Ms pap actually had a lot more faith than me. But it does illustrate the folly of not thinking about what you put on FB without thinking about it.

Ok, I'm confused now. Never been on facebook, but were you referring to the thread I posted yesterday about how many pints he owed me, or an entirely different 5-0 pessimist?

Guess the facebook status update that upset loads of people? I guess it was something racist. Probably something about planet of the apes and look a likes. That seems to upset people.
