itchen_dan Posted 19 August, 2012 Posted 19 August, 2012 Clyne. Superb. Great passing, fast enough to recover, brilliant going forward. Linked with Puncheon well I must add.
Saint Scott Posted 19 August, 2012 Posted 19 August, 2012 Clyne for me. Looked assured and was very neat and tidy with his play. Did a very good job against silva and co. tried to link up with Puncheon but he was really poor. The last 10 minutes wasn't scared to drive on to force an equaliser and looks a fantastic signing for us. Get Ramirez and we are laughing! Fantastic debut!
St.Jeweller Posted 19 August, 2012 Posted 19 August, 2012 Sky giving it to Nasri after that shambolic Pen made me laugh.
St.Jeweller Posted 19 August, 2012 Posted 19 August, 2012 Opps,Getting confused with my dream team players............(at-least Lambert scored for me today.)
simo Posted 19 August, 2012 Posted 19 August, 2012 Jwp i gone for can i remind you he is 17 and was playing against yaya, silva et al!
SNSUN Posted 19 August, 2012 Posted 19 August, 2012 Clyne. Outstanding bargain if he carries on like this. Honourable mention to JWP and Guly.
max_saints Posted 19 August, 2012 Posted 19 August, 2012 Sky giving it to Nasri after that shambolic Pen made me laugh. that was silva?
forever a red and white Posted 19 August, 2012 Posted 19 August, 2012 Clyne was fantastic. Lallana not far behind. Morgan was great with passing and tackling.
IOWSaintDaz Posted 19 August, 2012 Posted 19 August, 2012 Clyne for me too, was a thorn in City's side throughout and the way he took out Aguero with only 10mins on the clock was a stroke of genius Helped out in my works fantasy football too as most others have Aguero but not me, BONUS
Under Weststand Posted 19 August, 2012 Posted 19 August, 2012 Just has to be Clyne for me put in an outstanding performance. Good defensively threatening going forward composed on the ball all round looks like we've got a real class player. I think Gully deserves a big mention as well I thought he was immense up front on his own ran his heart out today.
pingwing Posted 19 August, 2012 Posted 19 August, 2012 Has to be clyne really so pleased with the signin of him (as with Steven Davis as well) Guly needs a mention too, involved in a lot of the good stuff in the game.
Saint_Mabes Posted 19 August, 2012 Posted 19 August, 2012 Completely agree with everyone on here and so nice to see Guly getting some praise - sometimes I think he's had a good game yet he gets slated on here. The only slight negatives for me were J-Rod and Puncheon. J'Rod still doesn't look right on the left and Puncheon just looked generally poor (IMO). So pleased for Lambert. Oh and also... wonder why I worried so much about our CB's - both didn't look out of their depth
Leicestersaint Posted 19 August, 2012 Posted 19 August, 2012 I was very impressed with Nathaniel Clyne - looks a very good prospect indeed.
rudi7s Posted 19 August, 2012 Posted 19 August, 2012 Clyne. Our patient, short passing game often needs a change of pace. Full-backs can be vital in offering that; Cole, Clichy etc can burst past players and commit men, something Clyne can clearly do too
View From The Top Posted 19 August, 2012 Posted 19 August, 2012 JWP. A home grown nipper starting against the champions in their own backyard & never looked out of place.
westofshannonsaint Posted 19 August, 2012 Posted 19 August, 2012 am I wrong in thinking Clyne was at fault for the second city goal?
Appy Posted 19 August, 2012 Posted 19 August, 2012 Can't really fault anyone. But Clyne is the best of the bunch.
yateleysaint Posted 20 August, 2012 Posted 20 August, 2012 Clyne. That tackle on Aguero was fair and put him out of the game.
