Tickets for Hampshire game today...

I didnt realise that the club were giving every ticket away for free today and as such cant get a ticket, so wondering if anyone member or person who some of these free tickets who are not using them today? I am happy to collect anywhere in Southampton ish area!

Can I suggest you turn up just before the start. There is every chance that they will open gates. 8,000 allocated to public in 13,000 capacity as they have 5,000 members who could turn up.

 

Prediction is a gate of about 7,000 - 8,000 although the weather might convince thjose with tickets to attend. Hight percentage of those claiming free tickets have never been to the Ageas Bowl (formerly Rose Bowl) before

Hope Mark and his friends got in. There were tickets on the gate for late turn ups. I asked that was arranged

Funny game today really, seemed an easy total to chase down but made it look like hard work. Highlight obviously KP getting a golden duck.

Spoke to Neil MacKenzie during the game and Umpires at the break and they agreed the wicket was 180 par. Neil said it was taking more and more spin. As soon as Katich was called on to bowl I knew it was going to be a difficult wicket.

Got in no problem yesterday (thanks for the tip WS) but arrived a few minutes after the KP wicket...annoying but a great game. Great to see Carbs out there again! Lords here we come.......
