I did this this morning - so was told that I would need to make sure I finished the domestic chores first... arse....

Well stop boring everyone on the internet and get on with the hovering frankyboy!

Anyone else have one that wants to be treated like a princess? Not sure if it's just mine and her friends or if they are all as deluded.

they're all like that mate. just find one where you like them enough to put up with it, and you'll be fine. easier said than done though!

Or be like me and be worshipped by women so they want to do everything for you!

If it gets too much just treat her like a real princess and organise a high speed drive through Paris in a Mercedes.

People on this forum interact with girls?

Mine didn't like it when I gave her an infraction yesterday for a sarcastic comment. She is lucky I didn't ban her for going off topic when match of the day was on.

Nope. Mine wants to be treated as an equal, which is fair enough, so she's plastering a wall later today. :D

Nope. Mine's great and that's why she's my wife. Always find it funny with programmes like tool academy where women say they dont like their partners, so send them to get sorted out. Why not just leave them and find someone you actually like.

Mine's been going to football matches for longer than I have-- she started as a little girl.

As for being treated like a princess, I think mine prefers me not to sleep with old flames that look like a horse whilst my family largely ostracise me.

Just choose your woman carefully mate. Been with mine for about 38 years so I had to get it right.

+1

Same for blokes though, who go on about the missus as though she's a millstone or a pain in the ar$e in some way...

I think it’s a generation thing.

Those born in the 60's wanted to work

Those born in the 70's didn’t want to cook

Those born in the 80's think they can be bosses just because they wear square glasses and say absolutely

And those born on the 90's think they can spend life being pampered in Chapneys and eat out all the time

Christ no, mainly because if I met anyone acting like that I wouldn't give her the time of day to begin with.

My favourite thing about that programme is that all of the women on it without fail are utter tools as well.

Such a homophobic thread...

You're right! I've only just seen it now but you are completey correct. Everyone on this thread hates gays and are just posting about their wives to show how they are not gay. Interesting... Do you this any of them are secretly gay but are staying in the closet. All this talk about their wife going to get her nails done etc. Mmmmm

Well I always think that those who are so blatantly anti-fenminist and make disparaging remarks about women at football, lack of parking ability, etc, are clearly closet gays, who are frightened of their own sexuality. ;)

Ahhhh... the double bluff defence mechanism - classic.

Not that I think being a "closet anything" is wrong, freedom of choice people and those who like to label others as "closet this or that" are the ones adding to the supposed issue.

Do closets pay well? I'd of thought there was more of a market in bored lonely housewives...but i suppose you have the market cornered in the bored inanimate bedroom furniture area...

Closets don't but your wife does.

Exactly!

I still don't see the link though between someone's wife or girlfriend being a bit of a princess in their opinion and the hating of male/male relationships.

If there is a thread on mumsnet complaining that men are pigs/slobs are they anti lesbian?

Mine just needs a little reminder now and again when she has spent too much time with the moaning *****es at work, some of whom are married to blokes who are fecking useless. I can see it coming a mile off in the tone, so I just work to rule.

Like someone else above she has been into football for years so in that respect I am very lucky, however depending on which way the wind is blowing the mere mention of Golf can go one or 2 ways unfortunately its split 70/30 negative/positive. Still must be something right between us known each other 31 years married for 22 of them.

She has gone through a few Labrador's in that time mind!
