But on the Bournemouth OS, it said that they were waiting to find out if the registration had gone through.

Barnard agreed the move on Friday but will need clearance from both the Premier League and Football League to play in the Cherries’ fixture against Portsmouth.

Hope it has gone through, he'll be well fired up for that.

My mate is scouting the game so I'll be sure to get his views on it all later. I think Pompey have put together a good team and will probably take the 3 points.

Players released from Barnet? No, they haven't got a good side. Comfortable Bompey win IMO, would love Barney to get on the scoresheet.

Like it or not they've got some good players, players that plenty of other League 1 sides couldn't afford. Izale McLeod was top scorer in League 2 last season. Lee Williamson turned down a deal with Sheffield United to sign. Various other decent players that some Championship sides might have been interested in.

I hope Pfc go bust even more now just to teach such greedy players its better to get a proper contract with a solvent club.

Definitely. They are clearly being run on the never never, and on budgets higher than the Pompey Trust can actually afford.

In any case, we're going off topic. Here's hoping Barney smashes a hat-trick past them this afternoon.

Their best player is a 'scummer'.

I bet they conveniently forget that as easily as they forget the amount of times we helped them out with money, loan signings, groundsmen...

Considering the amount of work you did there I would have thought you would have a soft spot for them...

I'm afraid not.

A very strange bunch of fans, many of whom are unpleasant, especially so when they found out I was a Southampton fan. Not many nice people to work for within the club, plus they have a small club mentality but talk all billy big b*llcks to the press.

The Denim money will come back to haunt them. Maybe even this season.

Also it goes beyond that. When they were challenging for promotion, who was running their midfield and keeping goals out at the other end? Surman and Baird. Who was scoring the goals to keep them in League One? David McGoldrick.

Who was keeping their grass cut so they could play in the first place? Our groundsmen.

All of that and yet we're still hated for no other reason then they're inbred and need someone to hate. They've got Dorchester, Weymouth, hate one of them, not us!
