TopGun Posted 18 August, 2012 Share Posted 18 August, 2012 (edited) Manchester's latest fashionable area which is full of pubs and restaurants is the Northern Quarter which is situated just north of Piccadilly Gardens and is an easy walk from Piccadilly railway station. A new favourite of mine which has just opened is the Tib Street Tavern. You'd need a black cab (which are plentiful) for a 2 mile journey to the City ground from the Northern Quarter. scotty Posted 18 August, 2012 Share Posted 18 August, 2012 Just asked a mate in mancland, he said try the New Union. He reckons its good, and he is a seasoned drinker.
