ahh I did'nt know that.

If anyone wants another reason to dislike that *****, I was waiting for my boss at the Hilton, Swaythling where Blackpool had just arrived for the FA Cup game our NPL One side knocked out, I was at the entrance and Holloway pulled up with his wife(mutton dressed as lamb) as he walked through I made eye contact with him and smiled. I then jokingly said " Good luck tomorrow Ollie, well not too much luck!" he then stormed past me " I'm not signing anything or posing for photos".

I was'nt letting that little **** have the last word, so my reply was " If I wanted an autograph of a manager of your ability, Ill pop down the park on a Sunday morning".

As a former Sunday League manager I'm offended by this comment. :D

There are two certainties that come out of this - (1) that a manager and chairman can't be forced to sell a player if they hold his contract, and (2) that no club can force a player to perform to the best of his ability if he doesn't want to play for them.

Blackpool can certainly hold on the Phillips and continue to pay him his NpC level wages but they risk paying him to play in the reserves and to see his value fall.

Oyston would sell his grandmothers gold teeth for the right price. They'll sell Phillips alright.

Maybe we could agree to pay off his gambling debts as a sweetener.

Or help them out when 3 company credit cards are declined when checking into a hotel the night before a game (Peterborough).

How can he have gambling debts when he raided the Tangerine Piggy bank to help himself to an alleged £11m from the parachute/positional money.

With this fella and Ramirez you can see why we are so keen to have 50% of our squad fed from the Academy should cut out most of this bluffing and pimping that is going on.

Interview on 5Live. He said that Cortese hasn't got a clue how to do transfer deals and We can't provide a bankers draft for 5m offer to prove we have the cash...

He actually said nothing about us or Phillips, but did say there was an 'Olympic atmosphere' at Bloomfield Rd tonight and that he would pay to watch his team.

I wonder if it was us that made a bid for Ince:

Pity Oxo's dad did not provide similar advice to his son. Have to say I would have preferred Ince to Phillips on the evidence of what I've seen, but maybe the family influence would have been bad news.

West Ham apparantly. Both good players, Phillips is stronger and more powerful.

Would love it if NC just turned up and opened up a suitcase with £5 mil plus just to shut the C... up!

Holloway is now saying good things about us - shocking!

'They're a fantastic club, they can do what they like, they played brilliantly the other night.'

'Until interest turns into an opportunity which is the club accepting any sort of a bid there's nothing in it'

Must be a reason for his change of heart.....

Holloway having seen the odds on NA being the first to get sacked suddenly realises he'd been an idiot and attempts to build bridges so he can apply to replace him....

The answer is still f\/k off you *&^%%$ piece of @#%^^**

The one thing about playing in the Premier League is having enough cover for every position and more. Discounting a player losing form, injuries and internationals rob a club of prime players. The Academy is providing several players we can relie and count on, but it's wrong to write off players like Puncheon if we sign others. Let us not forget that Jason played a big part in convincing his good mate Clyne to join us. From Sundays match one gets the impression they have a good understanding on the pitch too.
