Accy

Man City

Montpellier

Braga

Chelsea

Blackpool

Leeds DNB

£27 pays £220

And the £10 to £10,000 challenge

70 bets re-using your stake on "certains" on the in-play market, starting with £10. Just lumped a tenner on Skonto Riga at HT (2-0 up) at 1/9, then re-use the return on a similar bet and so-on. 70 bets later, I'll be £10,000 better off!

Oh, and as I've said on a related FB post, you'd never be able to get up to £10k in "dead cert" bets because bookies wouldn't let you place that much on something with such short odds.

I was messing around with some spread betting on the cricket yesterday when Australia collapsed early in their innings chasing 206 to win in 20 overs and the most I could buy or sell Australia's projected total for was 16p per run. I won a whopping £1.60 :smug:

Enjoy your winnings ;)

I've just responded on FB. I love a gamble, but have no idea how I'll get around it to "complete" the challenge... any suggestions, or will I have to resort to good old fashioned doubles and trebles to lengthen the odds :uhoh:

No idea, really, perhaps when you get to a certain level, withdraw half of it and go again from that slightly lower level. That way, you're still betting with a fairly significant stake, but one low enough for the bookies to accept.

Question answered, thank you! :)

And for that, you win a picture of a smug-looking Steve McClaren;

Any 'triffic tips?

Never go against your instincts!

Just to let you all know, I worked my way up from £10 to £585 in four weeks betting.

I decided to lump on Arsenal today and was offered £690 cash out option at 2-0.

Every sinew of my body said take it (I had done so before, hence why I'd grown my money so quickly, never taking the full cash out but quitting while ahead and quickly re-investing).

I didn't take the cash out.

Decided, at 2-3 Fulham, to sit it out. I went balls deep.

3-3. I was offered £200.

3-3, stoppage time and pen.

Mikel Arteta. Mikel Arteta. Mikel Arteta. My, oh my.

I start again with £10 later.

It's got worse.

Built up £135 from a tenner in a week. Put it all on PSG to win today. They lost 2-1. Rennes went down to ten in the first half. Then five minutes into the second, they had just 9. I cannot quite believe how they survived the onslaught. I doff my hat to them, but now I have to start AGAIN. Lol.

CL, what do you like the look of today?

Well mate, I should have taken a hiatus from the £10-£10,000 last week but after building up another £300, I managed to lose it all on PSG (lost to 9 man Rennes at home!) and Inter (drew 2-2 at home to Cagliari, who hadn't picked up a point there in almost 20 years!). Wasn't a very lucky week for me at all so it's a good job you're asking this week, not last!

That said, with £9 left, I built up another £125 this week and I'm ready to go again :scared:

I've already got on Terek Grozy (beat Alania 1-0) and I'm just having a scan through the fixtures/over-under goals market/form guide... What is it you're planning on doing? An accy?

Anyone else got any tips as I don't want to be wholly responsible for Guan spunking his money on my w4nky tips... part-responsible I can live with though ;)

Any selction of that lot really on first impressions. 20/1 for the lot, though I'd go DNB for Arsenal and Boro...

No problems at all mate. I've got a group that I run on Facebook, should you want adding to that? I've, errr, neglected it this week or so because of how raw I felt but I'm going to get it up and running again soon.

As for the student short, may I suggest it also involves other vices, such heavy drug abuse, loose women and a shootout with Victor Chandler?

This really could be the British film industries renaissance piece.
