Well with the new season upon us I feel it would be good to use a thread to see what tips you have for the football as I'm sure some of us like a little flutter here and there.

This weekend I have mostly been betting on a 5 team accy of:

Fulham @ 4/5

Reading @ 11/8

Watford @ 11/5

Coventry @ 7/5

Bournemouth @ 8/11

and a side earner of:

Man City HT - Man City FT @ 4/7

Hopefully should be a nice start to the season :uhoh:

Now this thread I like. I think I had about 50 accumulators last season and zero came in, so any tips would be much appreciated!
Me too so I've decided this year to go all green and save paper and ink by not filling the slip in but just handing my tenner over to the bookie every sat morning.

Yeah a lot of horrible games tonight so i've gone for a crazy 7 fold.

Cardiff

Leicester

Huddersfield

Wolves

Blackpool

Colchester

Swindon

Well after last season i'm letting others make my decisions for me, so cheers for that. £2 at 247/1 !

After a terrible opening weekend, I recovered midweek to leave me £120 up. Nice, but no cigar.

Here's my fancies for tomorrow;

Win To Nil: Brighton (v Barnsley), Coventry (v Bury), Man Utd (v Fulham), Swansea (v West Ham).

Anytime Goalscorers: Robin van Persie, Gareth Bale and Eden Hazard.

Accumulator #1(small): Swansea, Saints, Chelsea, Spurs, Blackpool.

Accumulator #2 (small): Chelsea, Sunderland, Blackpool, Brighton, Juventus.

Accumulator #3 (small): Chelsea, Sunderland, Spurs, Blackpool, Brighton.

Accumulator #1 (large): Swansea, Saints, Chelsea, Spurs, Blackpool, M'boro, Notts County.

Accumulator #2 (large, alternative): Man Utd, Sunderland, Spurs, Blackpool, M'boro, Doncaster, Bradford.

Man u v Fulham - man u win

saints v wigan - saints win

stoke v arsenal - arsenal win

spurs v WBA - Spurs win

Boro v Palace - Boro win

Posh v leeds - Leeds win

Posted

Swansea @ 11/10

Celtic @ 8/15

Aston Villa @ 7/4

Manchester Utd @ 3/10

Tottenham @ 1/2

£10 pays £172.67, though Villa being 3-0 down at the moment has screwed it up. The first two came in, with Utd miles ahead and Spurs drawing at the moment.

Got a tenner on Saints to win and a tenner on Wigan too. £20 out,iIf we win then thats me £3.44 up, if Wigan win then I'm £30 up.

All at Ladbrokes.

All serious now though, I bet most Saturdays and full fixtures midweek, but I never start betting until about game 6/7, as the start of the season is nuts, as is the last 4/5 games when teams have nothing to play for.

I am probably about even over the season, but worth if for when you do win.

Had Afobe, Boselli, Danny Graham and Adam Johnson anytime scorers last night.

Johnson let me down, but got two assists. Bah.

I did do Boselli (single, ridiculous 12/5 anytime price!) and a Boselli/Shane Long double and came in £22 better off. Niiiiiiice.

Mirallas (Everton), Hooper (Celtic) and Sow (Fenerbahce) anytime scorers tonight. I think a fiver pays about fifty quid, maybe more...

I've got an accy on for this weekend:

Everton

Swansea

Bristol City

Sheff Utd

Rochdale

Quid on that returns £42. Not bad really.

Also put on my standard title-winners bet.

Man Utd

Bolton

Sheff Utd

Rotherham

Celtic

Fiver on that pays something stupid like £3820. Worth a go anyway, eh? ;)

After last weeks success no doubt it'll be back to normal this weekend...

Leeds, Burnley, Bentford, Oxford £5 pays £158

&

Everton, Swansea, WHam/Fulham Draw, Wigan/Stoke Draw £2 pays £112

Good luck all!
