The Majestic Channon Posted 14 August, 2012 Share Posted 14 August, 2012 Can anybody recommend any reasonably priced Indian food gaffs? Preferably in the covent garden, holborn, leicester square areas. I know central london prices will always be higher but are there any hidden gems? lunchtime buffets maybe? cheers
Hatch Posted 14 August, 2012 Share Posted 14 August, 2012 Not been for a few years, but when i have eaten there before it was decent. Not brilliant by any means., but it did a job. Don't know what it's called, but it's on New Row, just down by Tesco in Covent Garden

Alanh Posted 16 August, 2012 Share Posted 16 August, 2012 The Ravi Shankar bel puuri house in Drummond St, near Euston is excellent. All veggie buffet for about £7 per person. Certainly beats your routine curry house.

Whitey Grandad Posted 17 August, 2012 Share Posted 17 August, 2012 Not been for many years but the Gaylord was a very good tandoori type, not your typical indian restaurant. http://gaylordlondon.com/

Dodgy name though
