S-Clarke Posted 23 August, 2012 Share Posted 23 August, 2012 Had this song in my head for days now...Gaston from Beauty and the beast. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PK3x2DOoJIc No one's slick as Gaston No one's quick as Gaston No one's neck's as incredibly thick as Gaston's For there's no man in town half as manly Perfect, a pure paragon! You can ask any Tom, **** or Stanley And they'll tell you whose team they prefer to be on Lefou and Chorus: No one's been like Gaston A king pin like Gaston LeFou: No one's got a swell cleft in his chin like Gaston Gaston: As a specimen, yes, I'm intimidating! Either we haven't given the bank guarantees that are needed. I'm unsure why Why is it mental to pay up front? Far more normal than expecting the selling club to take a loan against our non bank guaranteed instalments.
merrimd Posted 24 August, 2012 Share Posted 24 August, 2012 I am confused over the whole guarantee business. If the Bank Bologna are getting their loan from require us to supply a guarantee for the final instalments of this deal, would that make us liable for that loan if Bologna 'do a pompey'? I would imagine if that is the case then there is absolutely no way NC will agree, and nor should he.

I imagine they're asking for a parent company guarantee, which ain't all that unreasonable IMO, state of football finances being what it is. goneawol Posted 24 August, 2012 Share Posted 24 August, 2012 League BOLOGNA RAMIREZ - Hard face to face yesterday between Gaston Ramirez and Guaraldi. According to reports in the Gazzetta dello Sport, the talented Uruguayan wanted to desert the training of Bologna after the confrontation with the owner of a Casteldebole felsineo club, but his agent convinced him to change his mind and now are trying to solve the most the situation, since the air in Emilia has got harder for Ramirez. The hope is that eventually the Southampton decides to please the Bologna so that each knows his "happy" ending. http://www.calcionews24.com/calciomercato-bologna-tensione-tra-ramirez-e-guaraldi-261184.html

Shows that Ramirez doesnt want to stay at Bologna. He wants to leave. No one else has had a bid accepted, but Saints. Funny, because its usually the other way round but I feel that the longer this one goes on, the more LIKELY it is to happen!
egg Posted 24 August, 2012 Share Posted 24 August, 2012 ...riiight. Apologies, poor choice of words. We can't give the guarantees that are required. The bottom line is that if we can't /wont pay in full then bologna need a loan. Our "proof" of ability to pay is seemingly not good enough as it doesn't prove that we will pay and does not give security.
