sigh. basic rules of TSW need reminding again. If you have "heard it" from somewhere, say where, and when. If its just your opinion / gut feel / your granny hinted, then say so, and maybe even say why. thanks

My granny says she remembers when this here thread first started, when she were a lass!

Thanks for reminding me that despite having to trawl through rehashed stories from different 'sources', the gut instincts of saintsweb posters as polar as they are, the will he wont he do we know anything, its STILL better than circa 1992, having to phone clubcall at £2 a minute to get the same information

Is this a real rule or a unwritten main board rule enforced by certain posters?

Clubcall, Teamtalk, Goal.com, CaughtOffside are all crap sources. HTH.

They are all about as ITK as my cat, who is currently out landing Messi for St Albans FC after Tom Cruise was in town making the place suddenly the most desirable on the planet.

Quite probably the Macaronis in cahoots to jack the money up.

If in the 70's you could stuff the press positions behind the goals for European or International games full of guys with empty cameras banging off flash bulbs whenever the opposing foreign devils were attacking the home goal. Then add the recent dodgy dealings in Italian Football, mixed with the number of teams in financial strife, a bit of mutual back scratching to get some money in from overseas wealth would not be a surprise.

If Bologna are going to fanny about with €15m are they really going to settle for less than €10m that will no doubt be demanded to be paid in instalments.

Still keeps us entertained while nowt else is going on................. Probably all a massive smokescreen and 3 other bigger players are signing as we speak shrouded in the fug, for a big Taa-Daa moment.

Yeah I was in Portugal last month and was able to get by very easily with the little Spanish I know. The two vocabularies are something like 75-80% identical.

If that's the 案件, I suppose one 方法 to test it 是 to see whether 人 can understand this 郵寄. Approximately 75% 是 in English. The 其餘 is in Chinese.

This is stupidly encouraging from Nixon now he has laid it all out:

reluctantnicko: @d9scott U r so far down the line with Ramirez that I can't see u being put off by a minor issue.

reluctantnicko: @leeroysaints @d9scott Down to Bologna to sort out their financial affairs.

reluctantnicko: @ChrisHamerton @leeroysaints @d9scott Bologna want more up front. U have player onside and agent. That's why u think u will win. So do I.

reluctantnicko: @markreeves999 Bologna want money from deal. They want first payment to be bigger. They are looking at 'accelerating' the rest.

reluctantnicko: @adkinsisourking @markreeves999 Either Bologna get more of the money sooner from Saints. Or they find a finance house who will give them it.

reluctantnicko: @markreeves999 That's the only problem area. U know they need the money, so u r being equally difficult. No biggie. Strong position.

reluctantnicko: @markreeves999 @adkinsisourking U know they are scratching for cash. So u r 'squeezing their balls' a bit here.

reluctantnicko: @markreeves999 Two big egos at work here. But the guy with the cash usually wins.

reluctantnicko: @adkinsisourking @markreeves999 Default settings. U want player. Player wants u. Bologna can't find another better deal. Only one result.

reluctantnicko: @markreeves999 U now KNOW they need cash. So u r in control. Player and agent want to come. It's like chess and u have the pieces

reluctantnicko: @markreeves999 It's all pretty new for u as Saints have not been in this position before. Strange world.

--------------------------------------------

Nixon on Inter 'bid' and Spurs 'interest'

reluctantnicko: @ChrisHamerton @d9scott Italian waffle.

reluctantnicko: @leeroysaints @markreeves999 @adkinsisourking It is Bologna's way of looking for more money from u. A kid-on. Like Spurs and Inter 'bids'

When I was in Montevideo I was wearing my sash shirt. I had a very good steak and the waiter asked me which team the shirt was for. I told him and he said he would keep an eye it for them.

That is my Uruguay/Saints story. I hope you enjoyed it.

Lovely stuff.

This is only relevant if Ramirez had taken a part time job as a waiter. If so, then it appears all credit should go to you for convincing him to join.

A fine improvement on saint1971's Uruguay/Saints story.

I did, although I would like to have heard more about the steak. How do you like it cooked?

I sure hope Nixon knows what he is talking about!

He is usually correct. He turned out to be wrong on the ol' "Adkins for the chop very quickly" by-line that turned up in the People. I tweeted him on that and he back-pedalled, so maybe his continual insistence that deal is still on is a good sign.

Even with the thing he got wrong, looks like he got some of that right. Said flat-out that Cortese had lofty ambitions in the transfer department, and here we are.

What a complete grade one **** you are. Always attacking other posters instead of offering your own opinions. Why you've not been banned from the site is beyond me - you've broken every rule in the book and still you get to post insults.

LOL!!! If you found my post offensive then clearly I've hit the target.
