It's 10:26pm and I have another Italian journalist Ramirez twitter update for you!

Mousse81: #Ramirez update: agent said "deal is over", Bologna said "deal is over". And #Saints? They're waiting or going on similar like El Kaddouri?

Tweet that it is all going to go off at the New Forest tomorrow!! Should put cat amongst pigeons!! Admittedly, hope they aren't driving through Lyndhurst, we may never see him again!!

Interesting that the official saints tweet re: JWP's call up was location stamped from the middle of the New Forest. Could there be schmoozing afoot? Will this Columbo-lite detective work help extend this thread even further, I hope so!

The official tweets were also location stamped during the u21 game the other day from new forest. So staplewood then?

Have a feeling it will be announced tommorow. Not itk, just a hunch!

Apparently NC extended the deadline for Bologna to accept the offer on the table to tomorrow. If that's the case and Bologna accept, we'll have to do medical, fancy pictures etc so probably would t be announced till Friday I should imagine

"Gaston Ramirez continues to push for a transfer to Southampton. Yet despite the lack of formal agreement with Bologna, the British press reported other statements of Uruguayan playmaker confirming the deal: "With the Southampton we have reached an agreement, it is the classic range that for me or for my family I could not refuse.'s a club that strongly believes in me and that is growing, has just been promoted to the Premier League but in a few years will become a big ", in the words of Ramirez, now far away from Inter.

However, according to the tabloids, Southampton is not yet sure of the deal, given the excessive demands of Bologna, and before closing would also consider other options in the market."

..it could even become a whole new chapter in the next Hagiography "" History of the Saints " - along with the Charlie George deal and the Skacel saga. What about it... Duncan/ Gary?

Well if the deal collapses then the Colin Todd fiasco angle would have been covered. Blimey imagine having an internet forum back in the late 1970s with dial up speeds you might have had back then! The threads would be more fragmented than they are now as the transfer window would have closed before your post uploaded or the page refreshed.

Oh for 4 channels on your Tele and every game to kick off at 3pm on a Saturday. :)

This has all the hallmarks of a deal not about to happen this side of ever. If Bologna really were cash-strapped, I can't see them not accepting the best terms we could offer. Looks like we're walking away from the deal now and if that's the case I can't see NC piddling around any longer. Real shame.

I am loving how some of the more 'special' posters completely dismiss as bullshyte, any article or 'tweet' which doesn't fit with what they want to believe. This thread epitomises how far this forum has fallen from grace.

Hahaha, I think the SWF era of "grace" must have passed me by!

I'd say desperately trying to secure a bank loan against the future payments we offer is a sign that they are both cash-strapped and trying to accept out best terms.
