Right I give up, I can't deal with the hourly emotional roller coaster that has occurred since Friday (when i first checked), I need Bearsy and Tokyo Saint to write some witticisms in the Muppet Lounge and enable me to focus on the important things in life like bans, porn, mods and random birds that can be manipulated to cook for Bearsy.

If you dont believe the rmours put on here why not just ignore instead of the crap people post in response sayings it all ********.

This is primarily a rumour site FFS

Would you rather nobody posted anything ? If I hear anything ill post it, I dont care if you lot think its real or not. The stuff posted on here I take with a pinch of salt, some I believe.

Fact is this place has taken a massive ****ing nosedive in the last 2 years, anyone interesting is bombed out, its full of negatives, PC correctionists or just plain tossers and the mods are only happy in chucking their adolescant weight around.

Surely our leader with his banking experience can rectify this problem!

Shame imo. Calm down and stay here. Much more fun than the ugly.

Does my head in mate. this is the 2nd time I have been rollicked, 1st time was for offering my S/T for cost price V Cov last season due to working away and being accused of touting (yet others do it freely) 2nd time because I called Hypo a Kn0b, and he is. Double standards on here me thinks.

Gaston Ramirez Bologna

Anfield side prepare big money move for long term target.

Liverpool are ready to re-enter negotiations to sign Uruguayan international Gaston Ramirez after it was revealed that the Bologna youngster’s move to Southampton has fallen through. Having previously baulked at meeting the Serie A side’s asking price for the 21 year old, Brendan Rodgers has been given the board’s backing ahead of a £18m bid for the talented starlet.

It had looked like the Saints had secured the £12.8m signing of the Bologna midfielder but that deal has seemingly stalled and left the door open for other offers and Rodgers is keen to register his interest in the hopes of making Ramirez his fourth summer signing in the next few days.

Bologna seem resigned to losing Gaston Ramirez and if Liverpool are indeed set to meet the Stadio Renato Dall’Ara side’s asking price then a deal could well be sealed before the transfer window comes to a close.

Rodgers is even keener to land the long term target following his side’s opening day defeat at West Brom. The Liverpool boss is looking to appease the club’s American owners with further player sales to help balance the books and having already offloaded Dirk Kuyt, Craig Bellamy, Maxi Rodriguez and Alberto Aquilani the Northern Irishman is ready to cash in on one or two other first team squad players.

Andy Carroll and Charlie Adam are both said to be fighting for their Liverpool futures and the Merseyside club may be willing to reduce their respective price-tags to help balance the books before the transfer window slams shut on August 31st.

Liverpool are front-runners to complete the deal for Gaston Ramirez, if indeed they do meet Bologna’s asking price, and the fact that two of his Uruguayan national team-mates are already at the club, Luis Suarez and Sebastian Coates, may well help to secure a deal for the former Penarol youngster.

How can you gaurantee a transaction unless its all paid upfront ? Did Pompey gaurantee all of theirs ? Did we prior to our meltdown ?

The fact that the golden share is dependant on football creditors to be paid in full must be guarantee anyways ?

The deal may be alive or dead but I cant see banking guarantees to be the issue

It could be that Cortese considers that this condition is a nonsense considering his backing from the Liebherr family and his connections with Italy. It is possible he has terminated discussions.

No quotations, no sources, just lazy 2+2=5 journalism (if you can call it that). All "ifs" and "maybes".

rumors: '#bolognafc and #southampton are now far to the agreement, the deal is very very difficult' an insider source said #ramirez

I just dont get how hard this deal can possibly be?! I mean, how can we or any other club / company / organisation provide guarantees for a years time? We could be back in admin within 6 months for all we know! It seems that Bologna are being difficult on purpose. Maybe they dont want Ramirez coming to us as they see him better off going to a bigger team so are trying to make it as hard a possible so that we pull out? Therefore leaving another larger club the ability to come in a steal him in a much easier, smoother and quicker process.

If true, Liverpool paying over the odds again, they really don't get it. Bearing in mind the poor players Liverpool have bought for vast fees it might be the best thing to let it go.

I very much doubt that Gaston Ramirez is worth anything like £18 million. If the rumours that Liverpool are willing to match the asking price then good luck. There's one thing paying £24 Million for RVP who is proven in the Premiership but this guy and Bologna are taking the mickey. I would be surprised if NC pays out that sort of money for him. Wherever he goes will be a risk.. Let's move on..

Don´t see where he would fit in at Pool. They have Gerrard, Joe Allen and probably trying to bring in Johnson. I really don´t see a fit there for Gaston.

And want their fans really see prospects for that kind of money, I would think they want players in their prime and I think that´s what a manager needs in that club. he would want players in that can deliver from the go.

My personal opinion....

I know, it's been on newsnow for a while. It's just that Liverpool seem to have lost their marbles over the years in the valuation of players that don't fit in and are then unloaded at a big loss. I think Liverpool being linked with a player is almost a good reason for looking elsewhere.

Hardly a 'rollicking', I pointed out the forum rules. I am happy to post a copy of the warning as I believe you are mis-representing it. Also I am not sure you did suggest cost price. Maybe this will jog your memory.
