Finally if you're offended by my sense of humour, apologies. I still stand by what I said though, not a healthy place to be for those with Bipolar disorder.

so is it a joke or ur opinion?

I'm not offended, I just didn't think it was a joke. and if it was its inaccurate, it's a drama queen issue, not bi-polar.

people not finding ur jokes funny, or even not finding them at all, usually means u dont have a sense of humour.

it would help everyone if there was a dedicated smiley for jokes/sarcasm, as tone of voice is not usually conveyed in text.

Just read a few posts and am asking

Has Gaston got Bipolar, is that what the hold up is?

Who is Trousers?

Is anyone ITK on here or is everyone guessing?

Is this bloke going to be better than Guly?

Why are Google translations so bad?

Why is a headache tablet company getting a cut of the deal?

Does Gaston like Spagetti Bolegnese? If so, what can we offer him in Southampton (aside from 60K a week)?

It was a joke, but one I felt contained an essential truth. People not finding your jokes funny is not an indication that you don't have a sense of humour, more that you don't share one.

I agree with your last line, causes more problems than anything else. Although there are a fair few on here who seem to just come on for an argument. Safer than going down the local for one I suppose.

Bologna journalist saying that the issue with the full payment v installments is that Bologna sold a player to Espanyol of couple of years ago and didnt receive the second installement because Espanyol sold the player to Roma and just didn't pay Bologna what they had agreed.

Think we will somehow have to pay more upfront or convince Bolgna we are trustworthy.

Well, there are such things as Bank Guarantees - but NC would know all about those. If this is really the only sticking point, then there are ways and means.

Have you tried the Italian Restaurant pretty much opposite KFC in Southampton?

If someone takes Ramirez there for some really good "food from home" - whether Spag Bol or otherwise - he'll sign in the blink of an eye!!!

No I am talking about the players we have been linked with who have then signed. Every player we have signed in the past two seasons was known about a long time before in the press.

But then of course so were many others ,known about' that we did not eventually sign. Many reporters work on the same principle as a bad clairvoyant at a seance. Guess anything till something turns out right. Then ignore the wrong ones.

Does anyone know someone called John ?.... Jane ?..with black hair?...with 2 legs?... Oh yes, I'm right again. Uncanny isn't it?

I find it 9intriguing that people get offended by someone mentioning bipolar but have no problem with the frequently used expression of 'mongs'.

I will stick my neck on the line - I reckon Ramirez will sign, but not for another few days - it will go quiet and then we will go back and move to an agreement.

As Morph would say, All IMHO of course.

Whole range of opinions on here. Signing to be complete in a few days all the way to "never in a million years" (despite getting to advanced negotiation stages and agreeing terms with the player). I think we've got a good chance but won't be crying myself to sleep if it doesn't happen which is also quite likely.

SSN isn't reliable. BBC sport news is. BBC sport news hasn't yet mentioned the Ramirez transfer and until they do (or it's on the OS) I'm not going to believe it's a done deal. I'm guessing that if we don't get Ramirez we'll go for somebody like Lens, perhaps, maybe, possibly.

BBC did run an article on Adkins thoughts on Ramirez tho

But they have linked us to every player that we have signed. Even with some wrong ones that is a very high percentage to get right. Either they are very lucky or they do actually know who we are being linked with.

I won't cry myself to sleep if we dont sign Ramirez because I will have already leapt from the cliffs of Kimmeridge - despairing at Cortese attempts to F**k up yet another deal

They stock a wide range of Frey Bentos

Random trivia.

Frey Bentos pies are so called because the beef once used in them came from that part of Argentina. They have never been made in South America.

And having been to the production facility in Long Sutton.... you would have to be mad to want to eat them!!! Truly horrible.

Arsenal have been after a player for seven years >Arsene Wenger's seven-year transfer pursuit of Nuri Sahin was halted as talks to bring the Real Madrid midfielder to Arsenal on loan hit a sticking point.Wenger wants to replace Alex Song by signing Sahin, 23, on a one-year loan but negotiations have become locked on the terms of an option to buy him permanently next year.

Big Sam said WHU have failed with 95% of their transfer targets this summer....so have we :(

Didn't want to say it before but Cortese out, bring back Guy Askham.

Stop being stupid, no-one has said this. People have raised concerns as to how our transfer activity is done, that's all. Just because you don't agree doesn't mean it doesn't warrant being talked about. The phrase 'close minded' applies to you more than anyone.

I can imagine. I ate them at uni, they were cheap.

I guess the beef used is no longer from Frey Bentos.

I can see exactly where mullett is coming from some folk on here have two separate views on this topic . One minute extatic and the next uber negative because the deal has not.been completed yet . If he does sign it will not belong before some on here slate him what a waste of money . Some of you need to take a chill pill . There Are far more important things to worry about . My girl friends dad died yesterday of a very rare and aggressive cancer . He went into hospital 5 weeks ago as a very fit person. This bickering amongst each other for something g out of our control is really sad . Put life into perspective guys .

Ramirez remains in Bologna

Twist in the negotiations between Bologna and Southampton for Gaston Ramirez: negotiation is definitely missed. The president Emilia Guaraldi did not fulfill the terms of payment guaranteed by the English club. Ramirez remains at Bologna. Meanwhile, the dg Zanzi is in Rome for the appeal process of the lodging of the Bari match-fixing. Before the Federal Court Attorney Palaces pull out his trump card, the infamous phone call between Portanova and Di Vaio could cost three years of disqualification to the defender, a former captain and 2 points handicap at the club. In this climate Pioli prepares his debut in the league on Sunday in Verona, where the coach will be without a number of men Portanova is out for at least six months, Morleo must serve a round of stops, Curci, Natali and Riverola are in the infirmary Gimenez and works in part with his friend Ramirez. At least yesterday Gabbiadini he trained for the first time in Casteldebole waiting dell'ufficializzazione of his loan from Juventus. To strengthen the attack is coming from Lazio Floccari, while Casarini goes to Cagliari. Today new session at 18.
