Other than time travellers going back to the 90's, the FA & Harry Redknapp, do people still use fax machines these days?

I use 1 everyday. For orders at work

Loitering at hotel ? No, I said Employee. Agents flight details ? No, Ever heard of eavesdropping. My God there are some ***ts on this Forum. The fact is Mr Ramirez IS at Hotel and there are a few Italians around + 1 Spaniard (Agent I think) Give it a rest Mate ffs.

Amazed that people take the time and trouble to post what they know and then get slaughtered for it. The other thing that seems completely lost on people is that those people who pick up inside information and publically divulge their sources, never get said information again.

So thanks SFC1971 for info, hoping you are correct and sure that you have posted with the best intentions either way.

I won't believe it until some hotel bell boy takes a grainy picture of Ramirez holding the scarf aloft through the lobby window. And then sticking it on twitter. And then getting sacked.

especially if we are getting a good deal on poor internet connection ffs

Well be alright for that, we're sponsored by an IT company FFS.

For fooks sake get him signed now. This is dragging on for ******* ever. Sign him now.

It's been going on for around a week according to what we know. Not long at all for a modern day transfer...especially one which involves several parties... 3 clubs, agents, player etc.

Couldn't have put it better myself!

This employee speaks/understands Spanish/Italian?

A good point, very well made.

I'll apologise if I'm wrong, but it's not even vaguely believable b*llocks IMO.

Ignore the bulbs on here mate, it's full of them.i got a load of grief on the Clyne deal even though I was spot on about it. If you're right great, if you're not you mongboard ITk credibility is shot to bits, I'm sure you'll cope with that.

Did Swansea have all these problems when they signed Michu! Should have gone for him I think.

It's all just part of negotiations.

I can't be the only one who gets the fact that if Ramirez hadn't opened his mouth, we'd all be none the wiser about this transfer and therefore there wouldn't be fans getting impatient about it. or thinking that something is wrong. So if people really must find something to blame for their own impatience look in his direction.

Go and get yourselves a life, turn the computer off, and wait and see what happens.

Lol. Surely though that was just a bad Photoshop job wasn't it? I mean, the scarf's obviously not even from the same photo!

So you're loitering on this forum at 10:12pm for what reason? :)

I asked the Bologna journalist what sort of player we would be getting and he replied:

@Zoggers87 In my humble opinion, a phenomenon. An amazing player, he has only to improve in his mood with referees and he's perfect

sfc1971 - thanks for the snippet. Hopefully it is correct......and hypo could start an argument with himself in a closet. Ignore him.......I think most others do.

What a signing this would be.......almost as exciting as when Keegan signed, but perhaps even more so as this sort of signing doesn't really happen in this day and age as Man C, Liverpool, Man U, etc. will typically take stars like this. Real statement of intent should it happen and will hopefully show the likes of Shaw that they can achieve things at So'ton and don't need to go elsewhere.

Nixon said he has an update on two targets - may involve Ramirez, might be others.

Excuse my ignorance but has anything this Nixon guy said about Saints targets actually happened ?

Nixon said that he had updates on 2 players. Didn't mention Ramirez

Who is this Nixon guy? Has he ever got anything right regarding our transfers?

Almost certainly not. Every single one of our transfers has been known about ages before for the last two years.

Alan Nixon ‏@reluctantnicko

@dankiz1 Ok. Ramirez is expected to go through at up to 12m. Contract details elsewhere seem accurate. And u will go to 6 for Phillips. Gosh

I haven't actually said anything unreasonable here! All I did was ask a very reasonable question and considered it odd that someone was travelling all the way to South America for something that could easily be done remotely.

This is just like a more strung out version of the Rickie Lambert transfer three years ago.

The stages are the same:

1) Curiosity

2) Joy

3) Infighting

4) ITK snippets causing repeats of stages 2, 3

5) The introduction of another club at the closing stage

6) Conclusion

The Lambert transfer happened in just one day though, this is far more painful!
