Knowing the way we prolong things, probably just a re-hash of Adkins comments... :D

Nonetheless hopes are up...

Surely wouldn't spend the entire evening at SMS though. Due to the whole story of today's events ie Bologna fans, Italian media not knowing why it isn't complete it has to be Ramirez.

Mousse81: Il Southampton pare abbia offerto 6 milioni US$ per Bueno. Che è di Bentancur. E se fosse un piano B visti i problemi per #Ramirez?

Mousse81: The Southampton seems to have offered U.S. $ 6 million for Bueno. That's Bentancur. And if it was a plan B visa problems for # Ramirez?

Mousse81: Belong press in Uruguay, Saints have offered 6m US$ for Gonzalo Bueno. A Bentancur player. Is this a plan B due to Ramirez problems?

No idea....that we've paid the agent 6M dollars already without knowing if Ramirez will get a work permit?

That tweeter (Works for the local Bologna paper iirc) seems too love string things, and make stories out of absolutely nothing. All the panic articles have originated from him over the last week.

Typical local press.

Yea, he's no Nixon!

Seems to be saying we have bid for another of the players on the agents books as a plan B should Ramirez not get a permit. bizarre.

He seems more feasible if that is even possible.

I mean why would an untested 19 yr old Uruguayan be plan B if we fail to get one of the hottest prospects in European football?!

He wouldn't be plan B, he's just stiring it for whatever reason.

Probably just another player the agent has offered us the possibility of signing. Lots of hot air and talk around Bologna by the looks of it.

But why would a 19 year old with 1 u20 cap get a work permit if Ramirez gets denied one?

Mousse81: @tcumner1986 Bueno was offered to Bologna like a "reward" to sell Gaston. And now in Uruguay they say Saints on him. It's strange.

gregvul: @Mousse81 is ramairez deal not close then?

Mousse81: @gregvul No, it's not close at this moment.

Mousse81: @jimmysaint7 Nothing new, they said to me. Chairman Guaraldi said to supporters "the deadline is Thursday morning or he will remain"

Mousse81: @danbsfc Bologna-Saints are ok from Sunday. Why are they so late to close? It's a question...

I reckon it's a load of crap. Bologna president has already fronted the fans about the transfer.

And they've already agreed a fee for their replacement player. If Muyaka and Tadanari Lee can get a WP and clearance, then Ramirez can. Thte'yre doing my head in when we all know it's pretty much done, they continue to stir.
