AndyD Posted 15 November, 2008 Author Posted 15 November, 2008 Ooooops - sorry bout that. Any1 think we can get anything there - I am going with me bro and a mate and think it might be one of those days where we actually win! Any1 share my blind optimism?
Guest Hacienda Posted 15 November, 2008 Posted 15 November, 2008 I fear a massacre. I'm looking forward to the day out, but not the match.
Chez Posted 15 November, 2008 Posted 15 November, 2008 if we continue how we ended today we have every chance.
brightspark Posted 16 November, 2008 Posted 16 November, 2008 if we continue how we ended today we have every chance... ...of holding a cleansheet for just about quarter of an hour
ladysaint Posted 16 November, 2008 Posted 16 November, 2008 No. Time to play 11 defenders. Lucky if we can get two, Pearce wont be able to play, MS and Olly injured.
Delmary Posted 16 November, 2008 Posted 16 November, 2008 We've got absolutely no chance. If we select the team that played the second-half today, plus wotton then we might get a result.
alpine_saint Posted 16 November, 2008 Posted 16 November, 2008 Euell will be suspended, Pearce cant play, Killer and Holmes are still injured. Reading will put 5 past us.

egreog Posted 16 November, 2008 Posted 16 November, 2008 Blind optimism or laudable faith?.........sadly a tonking is on the cards at Reading..........4-0 to Reading...... but praise for Saints "pretty" football that has no end result.......and once again will be totally "pointless"
Andy_Porter Posted 16 November, 2008 Posted 16 November, 2008 Should be interesting how we try and deal with Doyle. If Lancashire and MS are both injured then I fear the worst Skacel, Perry, Cork and James isn't the most physically strong back four. Could be a battering, should be a good day tho.
ALWAYS_SFC Posted 16 November, 2008 Posted 16 November, 2008 Andyd as soon as i saw the thread i just knew that the usual cohorts would continue with their negative cr*p and true to form they are shouting we will lose get massacred etc. well i will be at reading next week and singing my heart out. IM hoping for a win but will settle for a draw. come on saints give us a win and shut the doom and gloom factions up for me. Is it really doom and gloom or just realism?
VectisSaint Posted 16 November, 2008 Posted 16 November, 2008 if we continue how we ended today we have every chance. Good plan, lets start with 10 players. Another head in the sand, we'll be alright with the spirit we showed today.
Glasgow_Saint Posted 16 November, 2008 Posted 16 November, 2008 maybe interest to anyone planning on stopping over the night - been looking online and found De Vere are doing rooms for £10. They have hotels in Reading. Not sure if you'll get one for £10 but may get one cheaper than normal - link below: http://www.deverevenues.co.uk/offers/leisure-offers/10-pound-rooms.html
Thedelldays Posted 16 November, 2008 Posted 16 November, 2008 Ooooops - sorry bout that. Any1 think we can get anything there - I am going with me bro and a mate and think it might be one of those days where we actually win! Any1 share my blind optimism? reading are the best team in this league and are scoring for fun.... we will lose by at least 3
Thedelldays Posted 16 November, 2008 Posted 16 November, 2008 Euell will be suspended, Pearce cant play, Killer and Holmes are still injured. Reading will put 5 past us. actually...reading that, scrub my losing by 3...i will go with losing by at least 4
Glasgow_Saint Posted 16 November, 2008 Posted 16 November, 2008 actually...reading that, scrub my losing by 3...i will go with losing by at least 4 Your predictions have been rubbish all season, so I'm glad you have tipped us to lose so heavily.....will probably now mean we are now good for a draw at least!
70's Mike Posted 16 November, 2008 Posted 16 November, 2008 Andyd as soon as i saw the thread i just knew that the usual cohorts would continue with their negative cr*p and true to form they are shouting we will lose get massacred etc. well i will be at reading next week and singing my heart out. abesaint Posted 16 November, 2008 Posted 16 November, 2008 I can't wait for the day out. But Reading are scoring for fun - goal difference of 22, best in the league. So i think we will lose. We just have to hope that Watford, Doncaster and Forest all lose.
badgerx16 Posted 16 November, 2008 Posted 16 November, 2008 We will start the game with 11 playing 11, and the score at 0-0. All we have to do is keep it like that for slightly over 90 minutes - should be a doddle.
Thorpe-le-Saint Posted 16 November, 2008 Posted 16 November, 2008 I'm looking forward to the weekend ****-up in Reading more than the football, and if anything, the football is an inconvienience (sp?) but I'll be there none the less singing my heart out. Reading 4-1 Saints
Mr saint Posted 16 November, 2008 Posted 16 November, 2008 SaintsWeb says their will be almost 4,000 Saints fans there. I know they're not too far away from us (geographically I mean), but surely we won't be taking that many will be. Of course it'd be great if we did, but I thought only about 2,000-3,000 tickets were being sold to Saints fans? Anyone want to shed some light? Also are any tickets left?

If we sell our second allocation there will be 3800 saints fans there.
stanthemanfairoak Posted 16 November, 2008 Posted 16 November, 2008 If we sell our second allocation there will be 3800 saints fans there.were only goin for the beer
krissyboy31 Posted 16 November, 2008 Posted 16 November, 2008 Euell will be suspended, Pearce cant play, Killer and Holmes are still injured. Reading will put 5 past us. That's a good point and the way Lancashire went off yesterday I doubt he'll be fit either.
rocknrollman no2 Posted 16 November, 2008 Posted 16 November, 2008 I fear a massacre. I'm looking forward to the day out, but not the match. Sums up exactly how i feel.
um pahars Posted 16 November, 2008 Posted 16 November, 2008 Andyd as soon as i saw the thread i just knew that the usual cohorts would continue with their negative cr*p and true to form they are shouting we will lose get massacred etc. well i will be at reading next week and singing my heart out. IM hoping for a win but will settle for a draw. come on saints give us a win and shut the doom and gloom factions up for me. ZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz On the thread about how many points from the next five games I put down 5 points. http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?p=87639&highlight=points#post87639 We've managed 4 points from four games to date, so rather than being negative, a member of the doom and gloom faction or a pessimist, I reckon you should really call me a realist. I think we'll get a draw on Saturday (you of course can predict a 5-0 stuffing of the Royals if you want to).
