How many tickets we sold for Citeh?

If Man Citeh had priced it correctly then we would have sold out, I know I keep harping on about the cost of the ticket and would accept it if all their games was priced the same. I know they have sold out for us but they have also sold out for QPR and have only charged them £29. I would be interested to know what they have charged their own fans for our game as I thought clubs had to charge the home and away team the same price.

I buy tickets for London Saints and after initially being told tickets would be restricted, was asked last week if I needed any more.

So with them now also offering 5 extra loyalty points for this game, I would think that there are still plenty still available

They do, and they have. The reason we're paying more is precisely because City fans are being charged more for the opener. It's something Man UNITED fans have been moaning about for years, as they're a "draw" for crowds, their away fans always end up paying through the nose because they're effectively "Cat A" for every match and never get to pay cheaper prices even against the smaller clubs because they put up the prices and the away tickets have to be the same price as comparable seats for home fans.

Even though the 5 additional loyalty points have no impact whatsoever on priority for the next away match at Arsenal !

Due to a TO glitch in the matrix they sent me an extra adult ticket. That was nice of them.

Haha. They really are useless. I've had similar things happen to me on a few occasions. I've received extra tickets for Millwall x2 and WHU before. All they need to do is look at the order and place the appropriate tickets in the envelope.

It will not for Arsenal but could well do for West Ham and QPR

And Everton. Fortunately for me I'm not planning on going to any of those anyway. They could also just start randomly offering more loyalty points for all of those as well, of course...

We have sold out the upper tier.

Not expecting that tbf, decent effort seeing as it costs more up there. I'm in the lower tier personally - have to draw the line somewhere!

Opening game of season at the Champions or not, to sell out & take 3k at those prices/ game on sky, Sunday PM etc would be actually pretty good.

Would make sense to me as think there were less tickets available in the upper tier compared to the lower, plus only £2 more for what a lot might consider a better view.

For the sake of £2 most of my mates have bought the more expensive tickets for exactly that reason

Official site does not say tickets for top tier sold out but looks like we have sold out tickets in at least two of the 3 blocks as i've some mates who are in 213 and mine and other mates are 214.

I'm in the UK on holiday but sure as hell wouldn't have been going if I lived here, but this is a bit of a treat to myself and I'm visiting various people over a number of days on the way there and back. I don't admit to any non-footie fans how much I'm paying for the ticket, I find it a bit embarassing!

Anyway, off to book somewhere to stay for a night out in Manchester!

Does appear we've given a block back to Man City though.

Your ticket should be on your doormat today or tomorrow.

£50 is a lot of money, but City are cashing in on the fact that they're champions now and more people will be likely to go and see them, and we're playing one of the biggest matches in our history - our first game back in the Prem. It's justifiable in some instances.

OK thanks well thats fair enough then. We should charge them £50 when they visit us later in the season.

Cant do that unless the home fans are charged that. The QPR match is £30 and £32 although Norwich are charging £45 for QPR.

Just be thankful that Saints will be the lowest cat matches for virtually all teams. The big teams are charged £40-£55 for every game.
