Blackpool report Saints over Phillips approach

There's so much 'obfuscation' in this story it just gets muddier and muddier. Holloway don't like us because we comprehensively beat him in the FA Cup at Saint Marys and then rubbed it in by singing 'Premier League? You're havin' a laugh'!

Nope. As already said he already held a grudge against us for transfer dealings when he was at Plymouth.

I still don't think this will be worth worrying about patred

Let's hope youre right. When Chelsea got Found guilty of tapping up they were given a transfer embargo for two windows I believe. We could be massively in the sh*t if there is something to this.

Whilst I don't agree with us doing it, I very much doubt we'll get a punishment like Chelsea's (before it was over turned).

The reason they were hit with an embargo.

Yep, it looks like they've been reported three times and have received one (over turned) embargo and a fine. It appears embargos are pretty rare, I can only find reports of Sion and Roma actually serving embargos for tapping up. Chelsea only got a £300,000 fine for actally meeting Ashley Cole in person, rather than just speaking to his agent.

Had to LOL whan I read that .. OLLY in pimping his players for sale - 'I work hard with my polayers to make them sellable assests' - just what any fan wants to hear! guy's lost the fricken plot.

As far as I am awre and Olly as well, contacting an agent about players is not quite teh same as directly secretly meeting with players - afterall how many clubs talk to agents to see who is 'avaiable'? either Olly is fecking naive or just being a tosser ... or frankly both.

the CEO has not got the authority at B'pool..

the same as no one other than Cortese can authorise it at our club.

Owen Oyston is an autocratic owner/chairman

He might be in ultimate control but anybody is entitled to treat a chief executive as the decision maker. It's for the CEO to decide if he's capable of making the decision without consulting his chairman. If he turned us away and we've still made contact with the play/agent then there's something to discuss.
