georgeweahscousin Posted 7 August, 2012 Posted 7 August, 2012 A look at a potential young startung XI for Saints! http://wp.me/p1mFFL-pA
Dibden Purlieu Saint Posted 7 August, 2012 Posted 7 August, 2012 Been extremely impressed with Shaw and Ward-Prowse.
The Kraken Posted 7 August, 2012 Posted 7 August, 2012 We've got some promising youngsters, but that team choice would get absolutely rinsed in the Premier League.

The Kraken Posted 7 August, 2012 Posted 7 August, 2012 Especially with a centre back pairing of Stephens and Cork. After watching him on Saturday I think Stephens still has an awful lot of development before he can be considered an option. His mistake let in SEB for what should have been a goal, and after that he seemed to lose his head a bit with some basic errors and misplaced passes. Looks like he needs another year or two of Development Squad to bulk out a bit and get much more confident, he looked very scared of making a mistake. Still a good prospect though. Shaw on the other hand looks like he may well be able to make the step up fairly quickly.
Appy Posted 7 August, 2012 Posted 7 August, 2012 We would be down by Christmas if we played that team every week.
Matthew Le God Posted 7 August, 2012 Posted 7 August, 2012 We would be down by Christmas if we played that team every week. With only 18 league games before Christmas, that is mathematically impossible.

Golden Balls Posted 7 August, 2012 Posted 7 August, 2012 Defence would be comical to watch. If we can keep hold of all these players, add where necessary, the team could grow together and become a bit of a force.
