Found out that Yoshida can speak some English, spoke it with his team mates in Holland, certainly helps and will help

Lee too.

As a little sidenote, Lee did his first interview in English yesterday for the programme on Sunday. Someone like Yoshida will improve the team and also help Lee settle in even more due to him being able to go to someone who can speak English but also his natural language.

So now we'll have even more f*cking sappy Japanese tourist-students trying to get into SMS with stupid home made banners.

there was a group of girls with their cameras at the ready at the front of block B on tuesday night, about 8-10 of them, if that is what they can take to stevenage midweek for Tadanari Lee just think how many will be out for bigger games!

think we're going to need a bigger stadium

Saw them going into the toilets at half time, ha. We should have our own segregated Japanese end within our away ends to cater for them. They should get their own allocation in our end and have stewards surrounding them so we can abuse them in safety.

Not happy about this at all. Going to be a nightmare trying to keep all the cringe worthy home-made banners and the like out the ground now.

Also, I posted the following on another thread but feel it's more apt on here;

"I actually went to see Venlo play last season. They were very poor and were easily beaten 3-0.

I actually remember thinking at the time, I wouldn't want one of these players at Saints, apart from this decent, young winger they had. So based on that, I'm going to write him off before he's even kicked a ball for us."

Spot on! Let's make them wear little kind of captain bands on their arms but instead of saying captain it could show something to signify they are different from us, a sun or a star or something.

Has an Asian player ever 'made it' in a Western football league?

There's that lad Man Utd have signed from BVB but even he's over-rated, IMO.

Ji Sung Park, Champions League, Premier Leagues and FIFA World Club Cup winner

Hidetoshi Nakata, Serie A winner.

4x Premier League

1x Champions League

etc etc

Plus plenty of other Asian players in top European leagues. In any case it is quite a generalisation to right off a player based on his nationality.

Know nothing about him. Hopefully he will be good! UTS!

I know naff all about this player!!

If I may respectfully direct your good selves to post number one (1) on this thread then your lack of knowledge of said footballer may be reduced somewhat.

I thank you. :toppa:

yes, and now we have the captain of the Japanese national side ...what sort of interest ....and shirt sales will that generate?

The Olympic side, not the full international team. A subtle but important difference. [/MLG mode dissengaged]
