Kenilworthy Posted 2 August, 2012 Share Posted 2 August, 2012 I was 147, got onto the website within 10 mins but login doesn't work again. Not a problem as mates are at the front of the queue at the TO. Does the number increment downwards? I am still stuck on 348 after 10 minutes. LGTL Posted 2 August, 2012 Share Posted 2 August, 2012 Word of warning, it now appears that the booking fee is £1.50 PER TICKET, rather than per transaction. I was charged £6 in addition to the £49 for each ticket!
WHITEE1987 Posted 2 August, 2012 Share Posted 2 August, 2012 Link to tickets page: http://southamptonfc.pvxgateway.com/?q=c2d6ac58-e923-46b2-a151-eb049557d4ed&p=80a0db32-7000-4008-80dc-21622905d3c7&ts=1343895601&h=ef96f78e6ff781745208a4005d9e0cb3 The number doesn't increment downwards. It just lets u in when its ur turn. Also beware the password problem isn't solved. I stayed logged in and the queue page logs you out. So you may need to do a speedy password reset. ladysaint Posted 2 August, 2012 Share Posted 2 August, 2012 Friends went to ground to get our tickets this morning and just had a text from SFC icket office confirming purchase and reference number which is very good, at least if there is any comeback I have a reference number to quote. This Charming Man Posted 2 August, 2012 Share Posted 2 August, 2012 Well after all my moaning, that was rather straight forward. Finally got in (after having to reset my password), linked 3 accounts to mine, purchased 4x Man City tickets in a couple of minutes and SFC even sent me a text to confirm it all. Just waiting for something to go wrong though, that was all far too easy...

Rang up this morning to get my password reset, linked a few other seasons to mine over the phone and spent about 5 mins in the online queue before booking tickets and having a confirmation email sent. All very easy
This Charming Man Posted 2 August, 2012 Share Posted 2 August, 2012 Seems we're rolling out our new website today and they've already admitted there may be some issues with that. Get your Man City tickets quickly, if you're planning on doing it on-line. What a day to roll it out...
JRM Posted 2 August, 2012 Share Posted 2 August, 2012 sounds like there is a big early surge for Man City tickets, queue at the ground and plenty buying online, will be interesting if they announce how many tickets are sold today. are most people going for the £49 lower tier? I reckon this will sell out now. Seeing as it's the only way to guarantee yourself an Arsenal ticket. I thought we would have a few hundred left over originally, when I assumed they'd take last season's games into account when buying for Arsenal. Appy Posted 2 August, 2012 Share Posted 2 August, 2012 Thinking this will sell out quickly, i was 444 in the queue, although i'm not sure how accurate that was, as i was done within about 5 minutes. Very good system, hopefully it continues throughout the season.

Imagine you could shift it. Even if it doesn't sell out, I'm sure someone would have it off you for £20 or so. It's barcode scanners there, so they don't have to be Under 16. This Charming Man Posted 2 August, 2012 Share Posted 2 August, 2012 Have you bought under 16? I wasn't sure whether to risk it or not. I didn't risk it in the end this time. Wasn't sure if the system would let me, if I'd have to collect or if I could only apply for Under 16 tickets for Arsenal. Need to suss it out before I go back to buying kids tickets. The9 Posted 2 August, 2012 Share Posted 2 August, 2012 Does the number increment downwards? I am still stuck on 348 after 10 minutes. Nope. You just get the refresh clock at the bottom telling you it's still doing something. Then the ticket site launches when it sees fit to let you in. My mates standing outside the TO just managed to get ours (after literally an hour and a quarter queueing) and they were near the front !

It won't matter so much after today, as you'd imagine there would always be a priority period based on loyalty points, so less of a scrum.

The9 Posted 2 August, 2012 Share Posted 2 August, 2012 Took me 15 minutes from the comfort of my own desk. Took me zero minutes from the comfort of my bed with someone else doing it who needed to get Ambulant and Enabler which you can't do online, what's your point ? I also managed to get onto the ticket webpage in under 10 minutes but didn't need the contingency plan.

This Charming Man Posted 2 August, 2012 Share Posted 2 August, 2012 Where do people think the atmosphere will be? Upper or Lower Tier? Lower. The Lower Tier will stand, the Upper will sit. Michelle Posted 2 August, 2012 Share Posted 2 August, 2012 Warning - PAY CASH AT THE TICKET OFFICE - unless you also wanna be charged £1.50 PER TICKET for the "privilege" of paying on your card. Thought that only applied to season tickets, turns out not. If I'd have known, I WOULD have arranged to give them £294.00 in £1 coins. Silly buggers. Soton7 Posted 2 August, 2012 Share Posted 2 August, 2012 I was having problems logging into the site too, once finall in I could not add any other people to my account. I discovered that when you highlight "Account" it gives you three options; Account Logout, edit account and transaction history. Ignore these three otions and just collect on the main "ACCOUNT" icon. This then gives you several options to add other customer numbers..

Lower Tier it is for us then. Cheers. As it happened I looked at Upper Tier and didn't seem to be able to book four together already! If that's the case it's really selling quickly. The Cat Posted 2 August, 2012 Share Posted 2 August, 2012 I like the way they list booking fee under our transaction history online. Maybe we will get loyalty points for the booking fees too! Also I couldn't log in at first, got a new password but that didn't work either. Rang the ticket office and they sorted in under a minute. Fair play to them. ladysaint Posted 2 August, 2012 Share Posted 2 August, 2012 I purchased the bundle i.e. the Memorial, Ajax and Udinese tickets but these are not showing on my online history, whereas I know someone else who attended and has them registered in their history, I dont think this will make any difference in the long run but just wanted to check if others have been credit or not credit with these tickets. As you can access the pre-season purchases without registering your Customer/Client/Whatever number on the online system AND without even logging in, and there are no loyalty points for those matches, I'd suggest they're not keeping a record of those purchases against customer numbers. They probably changed the system when they realised they weren't selling many, so your friend got in before they changed it, I'm guessing, or you didn't log in/tell them your customer number so they're not against yours. The other possibility which often happens is that someone else is down as the lead purchaser and they've got the tickets against their customer id. LGTL Posted 2 August, 2012 Share Posted 2 August, 2012 I think they may finally be recording each ticket purchased against customer numbers even if you weren't the lead buyer. I got 4 tickets and only 1 of those tickets appears in my transactions. Would be good if the others went into the transactions of the other 3 people. Anyone confirm/deny? ladysaint Posted 2 August, 2012 Share Posted 2 August, 2012 Yes thats right got 9 tickets this morning 8 of them have been credited to each ST holder, however one lady who did not have an online account, (she has now opened one) obviously her ticket has not been credited to her history, hopefully they will do this retrospectively or am I expecting too much.
