dune Posted 1 August, 2012 Share Posted 1 August, 2012 WTF, it says via the telephone hotline for home sales only. Personally I never use the online thing, and now i'm gonna have to the way it reads.
The9 Posted 1 August, 2012 Share Posted 1 August, 2012 Which would be nice if the online system was actually working at the moment, but it's not allowing a lot of people to log in OR refresh their password, etc. That does clear up the minor ambiguity about loyalty points and confirms that the maximum number of loyalty points available for one person for one match will be 10/15/20 depending on the category. beatlesaint Posted 1 August, 2012 Share Posted 1 August, 2012 You're lucky you can even get into your account ! I'm on my fourth password reset, still no friends and family link that they speak of in the article. Without meaning to knock them you would think its pretty common sense to test the system to make sure it works and displays all the correct information wouldn't you ? Mr Cortese will not be happy ! Griffo Posted 1 August, 2012 Share Posted 1 August, 2012 Also worth noting that they want your CUSTOMER ID (which I think is on my ST card), not your CLIENT ID (the old style customer number that was on previous STs) in order to allocate the loyalty points. That one's going to take some people some time to get used to... though without checking my ST I don't even know which is which. Actually, I wonder if it's the new customer number that the online system wants now... My customer number on my ST is the same as my old customer number. ladysaint Posted 1 August, 2012 Share Posted 1 August, 2012 think your customer number remains the same and this is the number I have used when we get our Man City tickets tomorrow all very confusing
The9 Posted 1 August, 2012 Share Posted 1 August, 2012 My customer number on my ST is the same as my old customer number. Ok, that's more straightforward - I can't be arsed to walk upstairs and check my ST with the Team GB match on.
dune Posted 1 August, 2012 Share Posted 1 August, 2012 My customer number on my ST is the same as my old customer number. My old customer numbers works. Scrabbled about and found i'd registered. Although for some reason the password I chose didn't work so had to reset it.

You'll be able to log in with the new reset password, but if you then want to change it to something you can remember, then try sign in again it won't work. ladysaint Posted 1 August, 2012 Share Posted 1 August, 2012 tried getting into my online account today without success, had to request new a password and then logged in ok, gone to go in tonight and won't let me in. LGTL Posted 1 August, 2012 Share Posted 1 August, 2012 I'm just keeping the "reset" password that was sent to me now, as it appears the only way to login each time. I can't wait to try and get tickets tomorrow for 4 other mates through my account too.... "Add them now" the OS says, without realising there is no link to do it... It COULD be a great system, but it's a bit cr*p at the moment.

Is this the same for everyone? Yep. It shows the Wolves friendly tickets I bought today but nothing at all from before that. Loyalty scheme starts from zero so makes a little bit of sense to start afresh.

Griffo Posted 1 August, 2012 Share Posted 1 August, 2012 I've just spoken to a mate who called the ticket office earlier. Once the TO have sent you a new password, you can't change it for 24 hours. Only what I've heard anyway.
S-Clarke Posted 1 August, 2012 Share Posted 1 August, 2012 It won't even let me login with a "reset" password now. Joke system. I'm having exactly the same problem. Wouldn't log me in y/day with my normal password (Which I had firefox store) - thought that was odd. So i reset it, the one in the email doesn't work either. Not a great experience from this so far. Bloody thing.

The9 Posted 1 August, 2012 Share Posted 1 August, 2012 The other stupid thing, is that article mentions Customer ID at the start, then "Client ID" later on. My ST has 2 numbers on it, "Customer ID" (which IS the old ST/customer number) and "Membership No." which doesn't correspond to anything they've mentioned. To ensure that you successfully receive the loyalty points you deserve, it is essential that you quote your unique customer ID when buying tickets either online, via the Ticket Hotline (home game sales only) or in person at the Ticket Office. Without this information we will be unable to allocate loyalty points to their account. If you don't have an account and unique customer ID yet, the easiest way is to register online If booking online, when logged into your account, simply click the 'Friends & Family' link on the tickets page. You will then be given the option to add all account holders with the same house address as yours or be offered the choice to add specific friends by inputting their date of birth and Client ID. If buying tickets from the Ticket Office, you will need to provide the Client ID number for anyone you planned to buy for. You will then be asked a couple of additional security questions to validate the sale. This will help us confirm they are a Season Ticket Holder and that they qualify to book during the priority booking period for this match I assume Customer ID and Client ID are the same thing, but seriously... Michelle Posted 1 August, 2012 Share Posted 1 August, 2012 What a bunch of c u n t s, quite frankly. Feck knows what's gonna happen when I roll up to buy seven tickets for Man City tomorrow, which include an ambulant and enabler pair, and one for someone who has had their own customer number, but has taken on someone else's season ticket, and been told to now use the customer number associated to the season ticket, rather than their own. Hope they realise I've got a wedding to go to at 2pm tomorrow!
saints_is_the_south Posted 1 August, 2012 Share Posted 1 August, 2012 Glad I'm not the only one who has the log in problem then. Wonder how much the club are paying for this new online ticketing "service", complete and utter joke so far.
This Charming Man Posted 1 August, 2012 Share Posted 1 August, 2012 Looking forward to trying to get 4x Man City tickets with this mess. ladysaint Posted 1 August, 2012 Share Posted 1 August, 2012 Nobody has any confidence in this system I can see major issues arising If they don't sort it out before Arsenal tickets go on sale.
rshephard3 Posted 2 August, 2012 Share Posted 2 August, 2012 A while ago I managed to login, view season ticket loyalty points, view upcoming tickets etc and it was decent. Go on today to actually try to buy City tickets and the same login details wont work. People don't always have time to go to the TO. I'm offering to pay £51 to watch Saints when it's on tv and the club STILL, in 2012, can't get a login system that's any better than when the damn internet began. The fans truly are the only ones who wear the shirt. It's frustrating and does not encourage me that all this talk of European football and new stadiums is not a load of dog poo. All IMHO of course. Rant over, off to work.

The9 Posted 2 August, 2012 Share Posted 2 August, 2012 Pretty sure the tickets go on sale at 9am anyway, so... The solution though, is to request new password and not change it until after you've bought the tickets.
