Wasn't clear at all, is that what he's on about ? When have we had an Opening Ceremony at SMS anyway ?

Reading it back, I've actually got no idea what he's on about. I thought it was clear from the text, the title suggests something different altogether. Colour me confused.

I'm guessing he means the lights the crowd had to turn the seating area into a massive LED display at the opening ceremony of the Olympics.

Yeah that was pretty sweet, I think they had a little led light panel on a stick next to each seat or something. Ain't sure how that'd quite work at St. Mary's tho, we're knid of all cramped together as it is.

Plus they'd have to run all the cables somewhere and what not.

That seems to make sense. I'm pretty sure that would probably be against some Prem rule or other. Otherwise Wigan would have used it to make their ground look more full.

There was about 4 miles worth of cabling installed for the Olympics Opening Ceremony. If we were to install that, it really would be a statement of intent.
