Saint Martini Posted 15 November, 2008 Posted 15 November, 2008 Saints are in danger of leaving gaps at the back the way theyre playing. A dangerous game against such good oposition. The best defense is attack.
Under Weststand Posted 15 November, 2008 Posted 15 November, 2008 Kelvin great save keeps us in it again
Mole Posted 15 November, 2008 Posted 15 November, 2008 17,812,attendance Sh1t considering the opposition.
Window Cleaner Posted 15 November, 2008 Posted 15 November, 2008 17,812,attendance Not bad, a win would see most of them go home happy then.
saintjay77 Posted 15 November, 2008 Posted 15 November, 2008 17,812,attendance Where did you get that from? Impressive if its anything like that. there must not be as many boycotting as we thought.
Under Weststand Posted 15 November, 2008 Posted 15 November, 2008 Free shot at goal for wolves again just wide.
Mole Posted 15 November, 2008 Posted 15 November, 2008 Where did you get that from? Impressive if its anything like that. there must not be as many boycotting as we thought. 2500 are Wolves fans.
mprobert Posted 15 November, 2008 Posted 15 November, 2008 no its not as we have scored 1 hence the 1-5 prediction  OK, that one fell on stoney ground didn't it, if you have to explain a joke its not quite the same as first time round
brightspark Posted 15 November, 2008 Posted 15 November, 2008 Great save by Davis. The problem is we hear that too much on these threads...
saint lard Posted 15 November, 2008 Posted 15 November, 2008 Big wolves contingent adds to the attendance, approx 2500 apparently.
saintjay77 Posted 15 November, 2008 Posted 15 November, 2008 Free shot at goal for wolves again just wide. I just dont get why it seems its only the fans that have known our defence has been carp for years. Managment over the past so many seasons seem to think Midfeild need more players and the defence has been peachy. If we do get turned over easily today someone at the club might wonder if the fans have a point.
saint lard Posted 15 November, 2008 Posted 15 November, 2008 Fulham 1-0 spurs, just in case anyone cares.
Window Cleaner Posted 15 November, 2008 Posted 15 November, 2008 Big wolves contingent adds to the attendance, approx 2500 apparently. There were at least 2600 Wolves fans up until yesterday, maybe a few more today as well.
Plumstead_Saint Posted 15 November, 2008 Posted 15 November, 2008 Where did you get that from? Impressive if its anything like that. there must not be as many boycotting as we thought. Anyone with a season ticket is include in those figures, even if they are boycotting. Last weeks 14,000 =11,800 actually there apparently
Mole Posted 15 November, 2008 Posted 15 November, 2008 Saints are having shots, but a lot of them seem at range. Wolves are creating more dangerous chances.

Same as every year in the recent past;We bank on an ageing, infirm, star centre half overcoming career threatening injury. Trouble is they don't and we get shafted. Our "first choice" central pair this season was Svensson and Perry, one's fooked, the other is too old.
Norm Posted 15 November, 2008 Posted 15 November, 2008 Fulham 1-0 spurs, just in case anyone cares. Nope, I don't. This still a Saints forum?
saint lard Posted 15 November, 2008 Posted 15 November, 2008 The attendance figures come from Radio Solent.

Last weeks 14,000 =11,800 actually there apparently ah i see. I thought the attendances are based on tickets taken at the turnstyles. if you have a season ticket then you still have to give your stub over when you walk in right? either way the fact we are playing better opposition seems to have brought a few more of our fans in the door. even though most going to watch will expect us to get stuffed.
brightspark Posted 15 November, 2008 Posted 15 November, 2008 Please can we score a goal Southampton. Id appreciate it very much as im staying up over here in Australia in the minimal hope of actually getting a result!!!

It's FA rules - something to do with tax returns. Charlton fans have been complaining about the same thing - last week's game claimed 20,000 but mates who were there said it was definitely a lot less. They must also have figures for actuall bodies through turnstiles, but they keep them quiet.
saint lard Posted 15 November, 2008 Posted 15 November, 2008 Nope, I don't. This still a Saints forum? Just trying to be informative to some who don't have access to various media outlets, just like some want to know how are closest rivals in the CCC are doing such as Charlton,Forest and alike dosen't mean it isn't a SFC forum.
Saint Martini Posted 15 November, 2008 Posted 15 November, 2008 JP wants Euell to play closer to DMG.

Plumstead_Saint Posted 15 November, 2008 Posted 15 November, 2008 JP wants Euell to play closer to DMG. Sounds like a good idea. Score a goal McG!
Window Cleaner Posted 15 November, 2008 Posted 15 November, 2008 JP wants Euell to play closer to DMG. That's the way it should be, will work IF they get it right.
Plumstead_Saint Posted 15 November, 2008 Posted 15 November, 2008 The referee's a W*NKER  Euell is sent off.
Saint Martini Posted 15 November, 2008 Posted 15 November, 2008 Red card for a Euell after a 50-50. Studs showing according to the ref. Saints TV commentators are baffled. They thought the defender was late. Thanks a lot ref....

mprobert Posted 15 November, 2008 Posted 15 November, 2008 Saints down to ten men/boys. At least we've got a good excuse now

I apreciated the update. made me smile to think bagpuss might lose one and him not be looked at like he is something so special. people conviniently forget he was in charge when we got relegated and are starting to think of him in the same light as wenger and ferguson. :angryscareyeyesemotethingy:
Window Cleaner Posted 15 November, 2008 Posted 15 November, 2008 The referee is clearly racist. And a waynekerr

saintjay77 Posted 15 November, 2008 Posted 15 November, 2008 as if our job wasnt hard enough the ref thinks we should lose 1 of our experienced players? FFS
Norm Posted 15 November, 2008 Posted 15 November, 2008 Just trying to be informative to some who don't have access to various media outlets, just like some want to know how are closest rivals in the CCC are doing such as Charlton,Forest and alike dosen't mean it isn't a SFC forum. No problem with posting CC scores but most on here don't give a flying f*%k about Spurs or Pompey. Thanks anyway.
saintjay77 Posted 15 November, 2008 Posted 15 November, 2008 no one forgets it mate..just that other clubs dont have low meddling or our finances.
alpine_saint Posted 15 November, 2008 Posted 15 November, 2008 SO now saints have to play 10 kids against 12 men (including the referee). Sweet. How come we never get the close calls at home like other teams do ? Why do refs seem to hate us ?
alpine_saint Posted 15 November, 2008 Posted 15 November, 2008 as if our job wasnt hard enough the ref thinks we should lose 1 of our experienced players? FFS At least it gives your mates Lowe and JP an excuse for losing this one...
Thorpe-le-Saint Posted 15 November, 2008 Posted 15 November, 2008 I was dragged kicking and screaming out xmas shopping with the missus...I know were down 2-1, but who got sent off?
Saint Martini Posted 15 November, 2008 Posted 15 November, 2008 The ref is a ******* ****. He's not giving anything to Saints.
Thedelldays Posted 15 November, 2008 Posted 15 November, 2008 I was dragged kicking and screaming out xmas shopping with the missus...I know were down 2-1, but who got sent off? the mule
