IF you like Footy manager , GET this!!

 

It's brilliant, instead if managing a team , you play as a player and have to work your way up the footballing pyramid. Its not all stat based, during matches, you get the text scrollup the screebn, then you'l get an action screen where you may have to pass/intercept/take a free kick, penalty or decide to shoot or pass.

 

I've been playing it non stop for 5 days now!

It's a good game, very addictive but with a sort life span. Once you have won the world cup with England and the prem with saints, you lose interest. Well, I did anyway.

This. Just ended up bouncing around the European big clubs for half a season each. Was proper addicted before.

 

It's like the classic "Footballer of the year" from Amstrad/Spectrum days.

I only discovered this yesterday. Likewise, totally hooked. I estimate that'll last for about 2 weeks. Three weeks max.

Actually I've just checked, and it predates this forum, was probably when we were on TSF or maybe even S4E... I know I played it before I bought a house down here, so pre 2007 for definite.

 

Nice to know it's pitched up on phones now anyway.

Got this app a while back on the basis of this thread, just won the quadruple with Saints in my 13th season after spells at Staines, Lincoln and Notts County before that...
