EBS1980 Posted 24 July, 2012 Share Posted 24 July, 2012 Does anyone know of a good company to use for Basingstoke area? Or any saints fans with a top notch car and wanna earn a few quid :-) It seems as soon as u mention wedding it doubles in price. Not really sure what car I'm looking for I think price will dictate more.
bridge too far Posted 24 July, 2012 Share Posted 24 July, 2012 One of my daughters had one of these for her wedding (a cream one) but she hired it from someone in Buckinghamshire. It looked very cool.
csh398 Posted 24 July, 2012 Share Posted 24 July, 2012 For my wedding I used http://www.thunderroadclassics.com. They are based in Dorset and provided excellent service including station pick-up for free (also negotiated a little discount). It's self-drive, and I went for the 1965 Mustang convertible, spending the day and night before enjoying the car. The owner even came to pick up from our reception in Beaulieu. Minty Posted 25 July, 2012 Share Posted 25 July, 2012 Used this guy ourselves: http://www.premiercarriage.co.uk/ It's effectively a front end for a host of independent car owners, lots to choose from.
ART Posted 25 July, 2012 Share Posted 25 July, 2012 I read a while back that John_Portsmouth_Football_Club_Westwood has some vintage cars that he rents out for weddings. For a bit extra he even agrees to chauffeur for you. Now that would be really original, especially if guests are invited to urinate on the car at the end of use. sotonjoe Posted 25 July, 2012 Share Posted 25 July, 2012 Didn't that pro golfer Will Fox who used to be on here give up his promising career as a pro golfer to be a private chaffeur in a jaguar xf? Sure he's on twitter if you wanna get in touch with him.
