worthy of our vote ?????

I've deliberated long and hard about this. The club brings so much enjoyment to many. But then on balance it has brought nothing but misery to many more.

Another factor in my deliberations was anticipating the end of so much enjoyment I've had these past few years watching the comical list of recent past owners. I'd miss all that.

So with a heavy heart, I voted "no"

I voted yes

becuase rivaly or not they are still a football club

yes they are cheaters and yes I hate them too but its not mainly their fault, just bad business investers and the football league not doing there job right.

I would miss our rivaly so much and I refuse to call those tossers that are brighton or bournemouth our next closest rivals! they are simply teams on the south coast!

Don't understand why anyone wants them gone. With no Pompey we won't experience highs such as Billy Sharp's last minute 'winner', Lambert's goal there etc and won't experience such lows as David Norris' equaliser, seeing them going mental on our own ground. It's what football's about and a big part of being a Saints fan is the rivalry with them.

Thanks for that. I have voted Yes. I have friends that support Pompey and they, despite the rivalry, did not wish us to fold 5 minutes ago.

If they are liquidated their fans will create a new club in non league for 2013/14. They will be our new rivals.

In any case if they survive the summer or start a new club in non league, Saints are unlikely to play them again for a very long time. Certainly not in the League and the chance of a cup meeting will be very slim. They'd have to reach the 3rd round for a start and then the chances of us drawing them are low.

Rubbish. Every day will feel like a derby win when they're toast.

Anyway, even if they stay alive we probably won't be playing them in the league for a while, wether they end up as AFC Pompey or not might not make much difference.

I think a Billy Sharp (real this time) winner at Man City in a few weeks will help soften the blow!!

Even if they did survive, it could be 20 years before we play them again, assuming they ever get to Round 3 of the FA Cup or Round 2 this year and then Rd 3 (Late entry for Clubs in Europe!!) of The League Cup.

Nearly 6 million owed to just 2 players - this hasn't just happened overnight.

They have no intention of paying out to a single player if they can get away with it.

Heads up - I've managed to vote twice now.
