bangkoksaint Posted 22 July, 2012 Share Posted 22 July, 2012 No I'm not inviting you round for dinner! I am just watching a recorded episode of one involving Neil Ruddock, John Fashanu, Frank Worthington and Carlton Palmer. Great to see the three ex Saints who apart from Razor still look in pretty good nick. Always remember that one season Frank had with us where he only scored 4 goals (including one in the 8 - 2 victory over Coventry) and we finished second being knocked out by Everton in the cup semi at Highbury.....still haunts me! 1984 was it? The Majestic Channon Posted 22 July, 2012 Share Posted 22 July, 2012 Frank worthington was superb for us, he basically stood still in the centre circle and fed danny wallace and moran etc with perfect through balls. 84-the season of so near yet so far

Deserved a goal and was a sublime piece of skill. Frank was a superb player.
