I have noticed in recent times just how bad the articles from supposed quality national papers have been getting in terms of accuracy and speling.

About the only paper where I have seen no decline is the Guardian, much as I dislike its politics.

The wrong manager, the wrong picture. And it says "our maiden premier league campaign" do they not know we were founder members and in top flight for 27 consecutive years FFS.

It's incredible that a supposedly proffesional journalist could make so many errors in such a small article.

Almost as funny as Trousers being with O2.

It did get the Nigel bit right, and the Nathaniel so in terms of accuracy by the Daily Express thats about as good as it gets. The Duke of Edinburgh once described the Express as "a bloody awful newspaper, but what can you expect from a paper edited by Rupert Bear.

What more do you expect from a right-leaning paper. Completely out of touch with the time

What complete and utter nonsense.

Hilarious has to be one of the worst pieces of badly researched journalism of all times. How you can get so much wrong in such a short article outstanding.

But they at least did get a picture of a previous manager called Nigel , and seems we're signing the Orangutan from every which way but lose.

They were probably distracted by the latest Princess Diana conspiracy article that the owner was dictating to the work experience or some rabidly far right article on the UK leaving the EU with quotes from the Taxpayers Alliance. The Express - a family newspaper - except for the fact that the owner has also allegedly had a number of 'blue' channels in his business portfolio. Says it all really.

The BBC don't even have the Gazza signing as a headline. One of the biggest signings of the summer doesn't even get a mention

The BBC are leading this media vendetta against the club, I'm certain of it
