Essruu Posted 18 July, 2012 Share Posted 18 July, 2012 Currently bored and messing around with my iPhone. Searching iTunes and the ringtones section - ringtones have come on a long way since the last time I looked at them. The comedy section has some funny ones. Despite being a tightārse and not really wanting to pay 99p for them, I must say that I am tempted by the one currently at No. 73 in the Top 100: It's an Angry Birds themed one called 'Fat Guy with titties'. I would use this as the personal ringtone for when Turkish phoned me. Do people really pay for this shīt?!
Colinjb Posted 18 July, 2012 Share Posted 18 July, 2012 Some do. I made my own when I owned an iPhone 4 using the free version of the app "Ringtones." it's a little bit of a convoluted process but saved a bit of money.
bridge too far Posted 18 July, 2012 Share Posted 18 July, 2012 My ringtone is the sound of a telephone ringing. Why would anyone want anything else?
Colinjb Posted 18 July, 2012 Share Posted 18 July, 2012 My ringtone is the sound of a telephone ringing. Why would anyone want anything else? I found with my iPhone that there were so few default ring tones that I wanted something different to make it unique. Hated hearing a phone going off, only to realise it was a person standing next to/near me and not mine after getting it out of my pocket.

I just use iTunes to capture sections of songs and change the file type. I wouldn't ever pay for a ringtone song snippet. Never been a fan of the jokey ringtones, but some did make me laugh. I have mine on vibrate as well so I can feel it ring too. Should I be pocketless, I tuck it into my bra

Doctoroncall Posted 18 July, 2012 Share Posted 18 July, 2012 I have a few different ones all assigned to different people which is great. Favourite is the Professionals theme tune, I got it after a fellow Parish Councillor complained about the influx of professionals in the village! Never paid for ringtones though.
