SO16_Saint Posted 15 July, 2012 Share Posted 15 July, 2012 My folks have this error: windows was unable to find a certificate to log you on to the network They have recently gone from virgin to.sky for wireless. I can connect to the network in phone etc, but can't get the wireless to work on their laptop. It connects wired. Tried to do SP update, and googled it, but none of the answers helped. Sky customer services dept were worse than useless too. Anyone able to help??

Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk 2 I went into the advanced tab under wireless connections, and there should be a box that I can in-tick (according to google vid). 802.1x - I know what you mean, but what settings / changes do you mean? The sky guy said it was a pc problem, but that he didn't know how to fix it and to google it!
colehillsaint Posted 15 July, 2012 Share Posted 15 July, 2012 Just had that with my nippers Sony laptop. Got the IT our business uses to sort it out. He said it probably originates from a glitch in a windows update. He restored factory settings and the laptop is ok but it has caused lost data etc I think.
