The happiest moment you've been at a Saints game?

Home (Dell) - Matt v Arsenal - last game. The 6-3 comes close.

Home (SMS) - Both promotions (can't choose really - the first was vital so felt relieved, the second was just brilliant to be back after 7 years)

Away (league) - Luton away in 1978 10000 of us seeing us virtually promoted.

Away (cup) 1976 FA Cup final. This being my ultimate winner. This couldn't be bettered as we were such underdogs. Until we win the Champions League in a couple of seasons that is......!!

How could I forget Dellhurst park in 99. The first goal by BT. Absolutely tense throughout game and when MLT floated in that cross, the moment it left Beatties head from where I was located you could see it was going in the net in a place where the keeper just wasnt going to get to.

4.33pm on 1st May 1976.

Then 7 minutes later an even bigger moment.

Nail hit firmly on head.

That is virtually the same view as I had on the day, but a little more to the right and of course a good few rows back - but the moment Bobby (RIP) hit it and Stepney started his dive, time went into slow motion for me , and I could see Stepney was never going to reach it, and I was going bananas long before it actually hit the back of the net. That moment lasted for quite a while, and luckily for my old ticker I missed Utd hitting crossbar or goal line clearance a few minutes later at the other end!!

People lining all the bridges and flyovers from about Fleet service station onwards cheering our return was very special indeed.

For general Feel Good Factorness, the last 3 years have been wonderful, getting used to losing games again might not be so nice though!!

When my son's were mascots at krapnottarf last year, we got in the dugout ready to go and meet the players and my Matty (needless to ask who he is named after), bearing in mind it was freezing whipped his hoody straight off to reveal the red and white in all its glory to which the skate **** of a groundsman looked round to his mate/lover and said f**kin scummer. Seeing them lead the team out down there was and always will be my proudest moment watching the saints.
