Steeleye Saint Posted 14 July, 2012 Share Posted 14 July, 2012 The people who decided not to attend games in League One and the Championship will no doubt now return to the fold to bask in the glory. Is there a case for a loyalty scheme whereby those supporters who have supported the club week in week out for the last few years, but can't afford a season ticket, are given priority when purchasing match tickets for the Prem? I'd imagine that a hard headed businessman like NC won't care where the money comes from as long as the stadium is full every week, but won't it inevitably mean that some regularly attending, diehard fans will miss out in the coming seasons? Thanks for sorting that out for us – so much for a reasoned debate on the subject. Lock the thread mods – DJ has spoken!
B Rabbit Posted 14 July, 2012 Share Posted 14 July, 2012 I'd imagine that a hard headed businessman like NC won't care where the money comes from as long as the stadium is full every week, but won't it inevitably mean that some regularly attending, diehard fans will miss out in the coming seasons? I would imagine if they were that die hard...they would find a way to get the money together to go. Prioritise...I don't go on holiday..I spend my money on a season ticket, that kind of thing. What was a ST last year £400? it's only an extra £200 over an entire year.

Didcot Saint Posted 15 July, 2012 Share Posted 15 July, 2012 Agree with OP. No loyalty shown by NC to fans whatsoever but on the other
Didcot Saint Posted 15 July, 2012 Share Posted 15 July, 2012 Flipping I phone, meant to say will take success over loyalty even if it costs.
for_heaven's_Saint Posted 15 July, 2012 Share Posted 15 July, 2012 It would be impossible to do retrospectively anyway. The only way this could have worked would have been to start it 2 years ago.
SaintNeil90 Posted 15 July, 2012 Share Posted 15 July, 2012 This debate always comes up. It wont be done. Its the same for everyone! I'm sure you have friends with season tickets that you can use to get tickets.
Chez Posted 15 July, 2012 Share Posted 15 July, 2012 anyone tell me if buying a £40 Saints shirt will be deemed as being more loyal than buying a £39 away ticket?
