Basically saying we need to get in 1 if not 2 GK's, and 1 if not 2 CB's

I think this could be put in the category of stating the bleeding obvious. Has been clear for ages that we need.2 keepers and 2 CBs. You cannot go into a seaon with 2 or 3 CBs, and no offence to Dan but he was not really good enough before his injury. Likewise, only having 2 serious keepers would be a huge risk, Tommy Fourpast is not a serious option for any professional football team. It would have been more intereting to know whether other positions were still under consideration, especially MF.

Whereas if they had not stated the obvious, and had gone to name more obscure midfield targets, many more people would have been in a right panic because ''WE'RE NOT GOING TO BUY DEFENDERS'' etc.

 

Stating the obvious will allow some of our posters to sleep better at night.

Some of our posters sleep better at night when Mummy tucks them in. Its a shame we have to take this sort of drivel to pander to the lowest common denominator, but I guess thats the level of Sky reports and interviewers these days, oh for something insightful and interesting.

Relieved to hear about the 1 or 2 goalkeepers Hopefully we will hear something soon.
