looks amazing, let's hope it's better than gta iv. imo sr3 was much better.

Yeah with GTA IV they tried to go the "realism" route and it just didn't work that well. The whole point of GTA is being in a virtual environment where you can blow up police helicopters with armoured tanks and doing whatever the hell you want. I also found a lot of the characters in GTA IV irritating - Niko spending half the story talking about his soul, and as for that Roman guy - jeez. The Jamaican Jacob fella was the only character that I found entertaining/amusing although that's probably because I've come across so many fellas that are just like him in real life when I was on the beat.

 

One rumour on wikipedia is they're trying to re-create real life Los Angeles which would be interesting. They need to produce an updated version of the San Andreas formula. And bring back The Truth (yep, I also came across a few blokes like him as well when I was a copper)

Looks a lot like the PS2 era style, but with PS3 era definition.

This could be the game 4 should have been.

 

Any news on what decade it's set in? The music was a huge let down in 4.

Apparently GTA V's world is bigger than the worlds of Red Dead Redemption, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas and Grand Theft Auto IV combined.

Absolutely loved Vice City but hated San Andreas. Think I'll go back to GTA with this, looks awesome.
