Bearsy Posted 9 July, 2012 Posted 9 July, 2012 I am finding the coverage of dis highly amusing! Here is what we is finding out today, I've taken peoples testimonies to try and understand the sequence of events. Some of the following is disputed by one party or the other! In match debates: Terry: Barges into the back of Ferdy for no reason. Terry: C***. Ferdy: C*** Terry: Makes gesture like Ferdy's breath smells. Ferdy: How can you call me a c***? You ****ged your team-mate's missus, you're a c***. Ferdy makes gesture with fist implying sex. Terry: F****** black c***. F****** knobhead. Post Match debates: Coley: You can't talk to JT like that. Terry: Do you think I racially abused you? Ferdy: No. No, that never came out of my mouth. Coley: Didn't you say that to me? Ferdy: I didn't say that at all This is a very serious issue clearly! Doreen Lawrence, mother of murdered black teenager Stephen Lawrence, attended Monday's hearing and sat in the public gallery.
Bearsy Posted 9 July, 2012 Author Posted 9 July, 2012 No-one cares bout JT? One of the most important criminal trials of our time is happening NOW and it's like no-one here gives a ****. I won't say I'm surprised but I am disappointed. Has anyone even picked a side yet? I'm flip-flopping! Sometimes I'm thinking there isn't even a victim cos Ferdy said he wanted to get abused and he never even heard the racist bit anyway. Then I'm hearing bout JTs lame excuses that he was just repeating something he heard or whatever and I'm thinking don the old black cap Judge, don the black cap!
RonManager Posted 9 July, 2012 Posted 9 July, 2012 Sorry mate, but until the Hollyoaks murderer is unmasked I can't give this the attention it deserves.

I think the maximum sentence is a £2.5K fine. However, if he is found guilty, I think a good ol' "I hear you're a racist now, Terry!" in the Father Ted style might be an amusing thing to shout at him.
Viking Warrior Posted 9 July, 2012 Posted 9 July, 2012 I wish Rio would shut the f*** up I detest his barrack room lawyer mentality. Is he the foortballing equivilent to arthur Scargill?

Turkish Posted 9 July, 2012 Posted 9 July, 2012 I see hes got Ashley Cole as a defence witness playing the 'I can't be racist, I've got a black friend' card.
dune Posted 10 July, 2012 Posted 10 July, 2012 The Terry case pales into insignificance compared to this. http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/article4418233.ece
trousers Posted 10 July, 2012 Posted 10 July, 2012 The Terry case pales into insignificance compared to this. http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/article4418233.ece Good lord. There aren't enough facepalms in the known universe for an article like that. There really are some thick people in the world (Not you Dune sir, but the daft mare who reported it)
dune Posted 10 July, 2012 Posted 10 July, 2012 Good lord. There aren't enough facepalms in the known universe for an article like that. There really are some thick people in the world (Not you Dune sir, but the daft mare who reported it) I bet the journo's were in stitches with this story. I particularly like Hollys comment: “It’s not about the money, but the fact is the white doll is a quid more dear than the black one and that can sow all kinds of ideas in people’s heads.”
Turkish Posted 10 July, 2012 Posted 10 July, 2012 'angry' and 'astonished' Holly actually contradicts herself. She says 'why should she have to pay more for A white baby?' in the first line of her statement. So interesting that she wasn't intending to buy a black baby anyway and was annoyed she had to pay more for a white one. Great morning reading though Dune. Funny as f*ck.
dune Posted 10 July, 2012 Posted 10 July, 2012 BARBARA CAMPBELL, Editor Black Heritage Today: Young black people have felt undervalued for years and yet here again something black is undervalued.
badgerx16 Posted 10 July, 2012 Posted 10 July, 2012 JT should feel at home in court, his family have spent a lot of time there.
Wes Tender Posted 10 July, 2012 Posted 10 July, 2012 "And these dolls aren't the only example I found in Tescos", continued Holly Beckett. "Shortly afterwards, I was passing the aisle where the sugar was, and to my horror I noticed that the white sugar cost more than the brown sugar. I immediately demanded an explanation from the store manager". "Well, madam, the white sugar is more refined" he replied. "What sort of message is that going to send out to the black community? It is going to set back race relations in this country by decades", said Holly.
Wes Tender Posted 10 July, 2012 Posted 10 July, 2012 And what is the point of dredging up this affair involving Terry shafting a team mate's girlfriend? Surely this is all water under the Bridge.
anothersaintinsouthsea Posted 10 July, 2012 Posted 10 July, 2012 Good lord. There aren't enough facepalms in the known universe for an article like that. There really are some thick people in the world (Not you Dune sir, but the daft mare who reported it) Too right: Holly — a former Tesco employee who shops at the giant store in Dudley, West Mids — said: “I think it’s disgusting I have to pay one pound more because it’s a white baby. You could just buy the black doll unless you're the Racist lol “At first I reported the price difference because I was worried about what people would think about Tesco. “As an ex-employee I didn’t want them to get involved in some kind of race row.” So you didn't want a damaging race row but decided to kick up a fuss and then get the Sun involved. Too stupid for words.
Hatch Posted 10 July, 2012 Posted 10 July, 2012 So you didn't want a damaging race row but decided to kick up a fuss and then get the Sun involved. Too stupid for words. Was just about to post the exact same. 'let me think, How do I keep this quiet? I know, I will tell the worlds biggest selling newspaper! ' Unbelievably thick.
Hatch Posted 10 July, 2012 Posted 10 July, 2012 why does this court case last 5 days as well? Do they only have a 5 minute session each day.
Turkish Posted 10 July, 2012 Posted 10 July, 2012 "And these dolls aren't the only example I found in Tescos", continued Holly Beckett. See you can be quite humourous at times and not a constant miserable, pompous old sod.
alpine_saint Posted 10 July, 2012 Posted 10 July, 2012 The Terry case pales into insignificance compared to this. http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/article4418233.ece Jesus. This is a simple supply-and-demand situation. How anyone can possibly try to accuse Tesco of racism here is ridiculous. It does have a message for racial perception within society in general - perhaps.

Turkish Posted 11 July, 2012 Posted 11 July, 2012 Apparantly this morning John Terry has been talking about 40,000 Liverpool fans singing a sone about how his mum loved scouse cock, Ashley Cole has been encouraged to say c*nt rather than using the c word and has said "i heard the word Bridge, the word Black and the word c*nt" This is comedy gold :lol::lol:
Turkish Posted 11 July, 2012 Posted 11 July, 2012  Matt Dickinson@DickinsonTimes Terry painfully has to recount to court the song from Liverpool fans about his "mum loving Scouse cock"
Dibden Purlieu Saint Posted 11 July, 2012 Posted 11 July, 2012 I think the maximum sentence is a £2.5K fine. However, if he is found guilty, I think a good ol' "I hear you're a racist now, Terry!" in the Father Ted style might be an amusing thing to shout at him. "Should we all be racists now father" Genius.
This Charming Man Posted 11 July, 2012 Posted 11 July, 2012 Is this John Terry trial actually happening or is it some kind of elaborate hoax?
Dibden Purlieu Saint Posted 11 July, 2012 Posted 11 July, 2012 Imo, I think John Terry is guilty of using racist language. However, I don't believe he is an actual racist.
Turkish Posted 11 July, 2012 Posted 11 July, 2012 a few more Crown: 'Why didn't you call Rio [to help smooth it over]? Terry: 'I did call Rio, he wouldn't take my call' Crown to Ashley Cole: 'You used to play for Arsenal, the crowd doesn't make any noise at the Emirates do they?' [LAUGHTER in court] Chief mag. encourages Cole to say 'c***' word out aloud rather than spell it out, 'Don't be shy'. Cole: 'I'm not'”
Bearsy Posted 11 July, 2012 Author Posted 11 July, 2012 Terry painfully has to recount to court the song from Liverpool fans about his "mum loving Scouse cock" Man they should definitely be televising this trial! I would give anything to watch Terry get cross examined bout whether or not his mum loves scouse cock! For the record, I suspect she probably does.
Chez Posted 11 July, 2012 Posted 11 July, 2012 Chief mag. encourages Cole to say 'c***' word out aloud rather than spell it out” because he was struggling to spell it?
Orange Posted 12 July, 2012 Posted 12 July, 2012 Such a pathetic saga, think of what all those millions being squandered could have gone on. What a f*cking gimp Ferdinand is.
JPTCount Posted 12 July, 2012 Posted 12 July, 2012 read the transcript the other day, very funny. having Ashley Cole as a character witness was a joke, he's the money grabbing, Geordie divorcing, air gun firing ****. its all a waste of time tho, the most he can get is £2500 fine, that's a car change for him.
buctootim Posted 12 July, 2012 Posted 12 July, 2012 the most he can get is £2500 fine, that's a car change for him. We should have a fine system based on income. Fining two people £2,500 - one on £250pw and one on £120,000pw is in no way the same deterrence.
Lord Duckhunter Posted 12 July, 2012 Posted 12 July, 2012 We should have a fine system based on income. Fining two people £2,500 - one on £250pw and one on £120,000pw is in no way the same deterrence. How does that work with drug dealers, surely they show no income but are loaded.
buctootim Posted 12 July, 2012 Posted 12 July, 2012 How does that work with drug dealers, surely they show no income but are loaded. I wouldnt fine them - community sentence or prison depending on severity. There is a legal mechanism for seizing proceeds of crime though.
JPTCount Posted 12 July, 2012 Posted 12 July, 2012 How does that work with drug dealers, surely they show no income but are loaded. they still work out illegal earnings, and often pay fines based in it, or are ordered to pay it back.
