The star of The Poseidon Adventure, The Dirty Dozen, Ice Station Zebra amongst others, but most importantly Airwolf, has died aged 95.

RIP. Great character actor. Odd name change though - his real name sounds more Hollywood than the one he adopted.

His face was his fortune I suppose, but not really a personal favorite of mine in all honesty. But thinking about it I can't remembering him putting in many bad performances - gwad knows he was in some terrible films - but he was pretty good on the whole.
