Turkish Posted 24 July, 2012 Share Posted 24 July, 2012 I'm waiting for the flexible price of season tickets to go down before I buy mine. Its a gamble but I think I'll be proved right. The problem is if there is a sudden rush the price will go up and you might end up having to pay £1500. Don't say you weren't warned.
This Charming Man Posted 24 July, 2012 Share Posted 24 July, 2012 No it means we need a bigger staidum. A lot of people wont have bothered buying on because they think they wont be able to get one due to our limited capacity. Is there a waiting list for season tickets? Surely there must be thousands on the waiting list?

Has anyone got a copy of the imaginary waiting list we had at The Dell? Wouldn't mind knowing how many imaginary names were on an imaginary list back then. Could compare it to see how many imaginary fans we have wanting to come these days.

Griffo Posted 24 July, 2012 Share Posted 24 July, 2012 To be fair, for some wierd, unexplained reason, that (well out of date, it was that 3 weeks ago) figure of 88 sold is for block 1 only. Block 2 does not appear on the stadium plan online. We had to get ours over the phone. No many left in the back 10 rows of block 2 as of yesterday when another mate tried to get a seat near us. I remember that now actually. Bought in row FF in Block 2 myself and could only get that over the phone as it didn't show up online. Weird. Of course it would but that is for the future, maybe, one day, when such success would suck in the plastic prawn sandwich brigade. Why? We should average 30k, with our investment, catchment area, ambition, catchment area, potential, catchment area, Chelseas crowds in 1984, catchment area, selling out against Bolton in 2004 and our massive catchment area we should sell out every game. I saw a post from somebody on the Pompey Takeover thread moaning that Dorkish was boring the tits off him, so I thought that I'd see what it was about. Even with him being on my ignore, I can see that he, Fry and TCM have hijacked yet another thread with their puerile playground jibes. Thankfully, I'm off on holiday for two weeks from Thursday and when I get back the season will be due to start. Then perhaps they might post instead about the football, how crap some of the players are, what a waste of money, how long will Adkins have before he is sacked, etc. But better than them having a separate thread for themselves, why not have them leave this forum alone and go and play elsewhere, ideally the UI. I'm sure that the number of posters on here would increase.

And I'm sure that were we to start a new forum, it wouldn't be long before you would come along, or somebody with a similar childish mindset, and ruin that one too, for forums do attract their fair share of weirdos. I know several people who have said how incredibly arrogant, tedious and dull you are yet the mods are unwilling to act. It seems yo are protected. Like you say, the internet does attract a lot of weirdos. Best just all put each other on ignore hadn't we?* * and then mention it at every opportunity, continue to respond to posts, read threads only because the person on ignore has posted on them and go on and on and on and on about the person who is on ignore, claim you wish they'd leave or stop yet talk about nothing else. The Kraken Posted 25 July, 2012 Share Posted 25 July, 2012 Could some one answer the question please? How many season tickets have been sold thus far? I can't be the only one interested. No-one knows for sure. The online system, which shows how many tickets are remaining AVAILABLE to buy, show that 21,661 tickets are "sold". However, as has been put forward by several people, that figure is unreliable as some of the stadium blocks are being shown as completely unavailable but its known that the club holds back a certain amount of tickets for comps, club officials, development players etc etc. This could, potentially, be applicable to some other areas of the stadium. So its perhaps likey that the overall figure is a bit less than the 21,661 figure quotes. Between 20,000 and 21,000 is a reasonable estimate to make IMO. alpine_saint Posted 25 July, 2012 Share Posted 25 July, 2012 According to the table in post #208 from MLG, it is only Blocks 3 and 7 that appear to be completely unavailable. They are quite small blocks, totalling ca. 1,400 seats. Therefore if 21600 seats appear sold, we must be close to or over the 20,000 mark. Damn good show, I say... However it does not include any seats sold to people like me in block 2. They are not available on the online plan, have to be bought over the phone. Also a lot of block 4 ST holders have moved over to block 3 as was their right to do so due to the higher price kicking in for blocks 4 onwards.
