Read an interesting article on futsal where the FA are finally backing it's use at grassroot level for the development of kids. The national youth futsal final took place last weekend where the Saints (from East Hull) played a Reading side.

It's catching on at professional clubs, so do Saints play futsal to help technical development of players? Does anyone have any experience of it?

The rage now. Spain and brazil have been doing so for years for the kids

Everton definitely do with their kids and the keepers are banned from kicking the ball too

The answer is yes, saints do.

Oddly enough the under 12 academy lads are playing in a futsal tournament this evening.

Is this what Simon Clifford used to be involved in?

He backed the wrong horse - that was Brazillian Soccer Skills.
