Hi everybody. have a look at this site, it has all of the Saints kits dating way back. Its interesting to see how the kit evolved.

I'm impressed at how well they did in 1994 to stand in exactly the same places as they did in 1993.

I still cant believe we had the same kit in the eighties for 5 years.

Hated all those Sanderson kits from the mid-to-late 90s. Looking at some of our kits from late 80s onwards the new kit is definitely growing on me.

Does anyone know the reason we stopped having a badge on the shirt in 1894 and didn't put one back on til 1975? Always wondered when I was a nipper why we didn't have a badge.

Ha Ha ... those pics from the late 60's / early 70's remind me of the old programmes back then - there used to be a Football League supplemnet in the middle and had a Team Picture of teams from the lower leagues - and often there would be a stray bollock or helmet/bellend protruding out of somebody in the front rów's shorts.

 

It became a bit of a pre match Spot The Ball Competition for us!!

Does anybody know when the badge was first designed? or was there a sudden change in the design around a certain date?
