The Kraken Posted 5 July, 2012 Posted 5 July, 2012 You can thank our eagle-eyed earlier posters for the deduction and detection. However, I could equally see this being a giant PM-organised wind-up, beginning with the words "you know what would be good for a laugh...". I'm 100% sure they are not one and the same; in fact I'd think you'd have to be a bit head mental to actually believe they were.
Turkish Posted 5 July, 2012 Posted 5 July, 2012 Article is not really that informative. The thread is a bit better. As for proving the Turkish = dune theory, I really don't know. Does anyone credible know that they are two separate people in real life? I know us both and we are definitely the same person.

I can confirm no such PM organised wind up took place between me or any of my logins.
Turkish Posted 5 July, 2012 Posted 5 July, 2012 I think I'm the best Saints fan there is. Shut up Turkish.
Griffo Posted 5 July, 2012 Posted 5 July, 2012 Shut up Turkish. I didn't realise I'm one of your other alter ego's too?
Turkish Posted 5 July, 2012 Posted 5 July, 2012 I didn't realise I'm one of your other alter ego's too? Yes you did. Why am I arguing with myself FFS?
dune Posted 5 July, 2012 Posted 5 July, 2012 I'm 100% sure they are not one and the same; in fact I'd think you'd have to be a bit head mental to actually believe they were.' My posts are nothing like dunes FFS.

pap Posted 5 July, 2012 Posted 5 July, 2012 I'm 100% sure they are not one and the same; in fact I'd think you'd have to be a bit head mental to actually believe they were. Which is kinda why I whacked my little disclaimer on there at the end. I don't think you have to be "head mental" to think they were, though. Ok, if you know them both in person, fair do's - I suspect that's behind your 100% certain knowledge. But if you don't - they're just usernames on an Internet forum plus whatever they post.
Turkish Posted 5 July, 2012 Posted 5 July, 2012 They gave it a go at least. When you say "they" is that me Turkish and Sour Mash or me, This Charming man and Dune?
CB Fry Posted 5 July, 2012 Posted 5 July, 2012 Don't forget cb fry, griffo and stanley. Sorry I forgot to log in as him, I mean me, this evening. Turkish is right on this, as usual. Well said.

dune Posted 5 July, 2012 Posted 5 July, 2012 Well done Turkish for just stealing a 17th C Heemskirk candlestick on ebay for 45 quid which is actually worth 300 quid because it was wrongly listed and wrongly dated as mid 19th C. Go me.

dune Posted 5 July, 2012 Posted 5 July, 2012 Top work Griffo. From the pics I can also see what might just be a makers stamp. If this is so it's value will rise considerably and i'll be seeking expert advice.
The Kraken Posted 5 July, 2012 Posted 5 July, 2012 I am also Mathew Le God btw. Now that's untrue. MLG is a computer generated entity; similar to Rimmer in Red Dwarf or even Data in Star Trek (except wrong much more often).
dune Posted 5 July, 2012 Posted 5 July, 2012 Now that's untrue. MLG is a computer generated entity; similar to Rimmer in Red Dwarf or Data in Star Trek, except wrong much more often. You might be right Frank.

It definitely looks like a markers stamp. When I take it to an expert he'll confirm it for you. Think I might have got a bargain there Dune.
rshephard3 Posted 5 July, 2012 Posted 5 July, 2012 Best thread for ages, can every thread be like this please? It'd make this board a whole lot more entertaining. One thing is for sure, you couldn't f**king make up Matthew Le God, he's comedy gold.
doddisalegend Posted 5 July, 2012 Posted 5 July, 2012 I'm starting to worry that I might just be another one of Turkish's personaliltes ....maybe we all are

rshephard3 Posted 5 July, 2012 Posted 5 July, 2012 Not sure after reading that why after 24 yrs he is now a fairweather fan? Is he tight? Likes a beer more? Objects to red shorts? What is he on about? Turkish trying to get back on topic......?
Turkish Posted 5 July, 2012 Posted 5 July, 2012 Turkish trying to get back on topic......? Its only because I didn't want to lock the thread and infract myself. St Chalet is trying to watch Live at the Apollo FFS.

cellone Posted 5 July, 2012 Posted 5 July, 2012 Dissapointed that nobody else is me., surely there are other posters that never post aything of interest.
rshephard3 Posted 5 July, 2012 Posted 5 July, 2012 Dissapointed that nobody else is me., surely there are other posters that never post aything of interest. I'm in the same boat. I might set up another cellone account and noone will know who the real cellone is. I'll make you more interesting, I promise.
dune Posted 5 July, 2012 Posted 5 July, 2012 Dissapointed that nobody else is me., surely there are other posters that never post aything of interest. Wes doesn't post much so was there really any need to bring him into this? I am Wes btw.
Wes Tender Posted 5 July, 2012 Posted 5 July, 2012 As the past page of posts have nothing whatsoever to do with the thread title, perhaps the thread ought to be consigned to the "Childrens' Playground". If that is, we have such a place. If not, then this is a foretaste of what it would be like. Perhaps then all the puerile usual suspects can play happily together there, insulting each other, and leaving the rest of us who prefer to indulge in more mature discussions about our club in peace.
scotty Posted 5 July, 2012 Posted 5 July, 2012 Now that's untrue. MLG is a computer generated entity; similar to Rimmer in Red Dwarf or even Data in Star Trek (except wrong much more often). Accurate post alert.

I've decided to retire the Wes Tender character after this post. I'm proud of him, even I can't believe I created someone with the killer combination of being so pompous and condesending while at the same time being embarrassingly clueless about pretty much everything. Cut that through with deadening, deadening humourlessness and you have quite a creation, up there with Alan Partridge and Arnold from Diff'rent Strokes. But I can tell he is sucking the life out of the forum, so I think time to say goodbye.
trousers Posted 6 July, 2012 Posted 6 July, 2012 Look guys, please can we keep this on topic otherwise I'll be left with no choice but to resurrect St.David, Saintlee, Tommac and Roman. And we don't want that, do we?
