Yes its a double disc set for £17.

Disc 1 is all the goals from 2010/11 and runs for just under 1 hour.

Disc 2 is all the goals from 2011/12 and runs for just over an hour.

Bonus footage is 33 mins of highlights of the Coventry game plus dressing room celebrations and celebrations on the balcony plus Solent's interviews with players.

Not bad actually.

I'm not sure the club have any idea what external marketing is, so I'm not surprised hardly anyone has heard about this.

It's weird how poor some of the marketing/ticketing operations seem to be. Much of it is pretty standard.

It was £17 and I have to say a pretty mediocre watch.

No interviews or looks at the table through either of the seasons, just the goals.

Unfortunately, once again, Pardew was effectively written out of Saints' recent history with not a mention of his name or his sacking. Shame because the work he did paved the way for Adkins to complete the job, superbly I may add.

Anyway, I digress. The DVD was edited shockingly and looked very unprofessional. It is impossible to think how a Saints fan can actually find it hard to watch 2 terrific seasons in the clubs' history, but I did.

Could have done a much better job IMO. It's lack of attention to detail is summed up by a spelling mistake of 'production' spelt 'producion' at the end of the credits.

Apologies for such a negative post.

Actually a very good post. Didn't just say 'It's ****', gave plenty of reasons why. Saved many people some money, I think!

What a pity, sounds like it should have been marketed and produced much better. I'll probably still get it at the Wigan game as it's a record of the two seasons and something to watch on a rainy weekend where Saints aren't playing.

Pity that is sounds guff. It's not like the club don't have access to all the footage and interviews they've built up on Saints player over the past few years. Wouldn't have taken much to cobble all that together into a decent package with a few extra interviews and a voice over.

I got the DVD thinking that last season's footage would be similar to the month by month "Road to the Premier League" on Saints Player, which I thought was superb!! The DVD is however, a bit of a let down in that there is some idiot talking over the goals instead of the Radio Solent commentry which was used in Saints Player. But its great to have all the goals on DVD its just the talk over that's lets it down.

That "idiot" as you put it is Nick Halling.

:toppa: Saved me wasting 20 odd quid. I assume it's similar to the 06/07 dvd which was pretty crappy production wise also (but only cost me £3 on hmv).
